what should i get for my NIN?

at Sylph Arhats+1 is 2-4M and SH is 5.4M so not a big difference!

what i heard is that you go in late game only on enmity and dmg reduce bc its nearly impossible to evade a god, is that right?

SH can i still use for my WAR... so i cant decide >.<

i cannot vouch for end game nin but i hear the same things. Depending on what level you are now will dictate what you buy.

If you are 57 i say go for the SH simply because you are not at the level where you can even buy the Gi yet, then when you reach HNMLS level, consider selling the SH for Arhat +1 or, if you make some money with your HNMLS, buy both if you are really that rich.

only thing that beats SH for EXP PTs is kirin's osode. for end game HNMs, its arhats+1.

Get and keep both. Ninja equipment is situational. End game vs some HNM evasion is very important (cassie, vivian, bune, ungur, behemoth if solo or duo, and serket to name a few) and on others they have near max accuracy so no matter how much evasion you have its not going to do much good so haste or damage equipment here (roc, simurgh, and others). Then there are those that you need the -damage from the arhats and the +enmity (fafnir, nidhogg, tiamat, other wyrms). The gods are a little different as well as each is different but I would say that probabbly the arhats gi +1 would win out vs most gods. That doesnt mean you cant tank the gods in an evasion setup though... just really depends on the nin. So in the end it is useful to have equipment to swap out for different situations.

i hear differently rotsu. Many nins have said the Dual Wield enhancement on the AF is actually decent and well worth it in XP parties if evasion is not an issue

Don't play everything based on what you hear. Get to that and point test it for yourself. It's true that for some people +acc and +eva from the SH are very nice to have. And for others they dont need it and prefer to swing faster. In the end it doesn't really matter long as the pt keeps moving, and if it's going slow, your not the cause of it.

you can use whatever you want whenever you want lol, if you wanna tank gods w/ scorpion you can, if you wanna tank god w/ arhat's you can too.
get both, they have their use (i.e. arhat's for kiting kirin is awesome for enmity+) tongue.gif

I was just wondering what everyone thought about the New NIN JSE in HNM situations. I have been told that the spell interuption rate down effects help when your having problems with getting hit and can't get your shadows up. Not to mention that the +Enmity on the gear is nice for helping to hold hate. Without god gear the pieces I would consider inveting into would be the body, hands, and legs.

Body +1 +5Enmity
Hands +1 +3Enmity
Legs +1 +3ENmity

With these 3 pieces you get a total of +2Enmity over Arhat's and spell inturuption rate down. Some INT boost to help with AOE and some minor improvements to your elemental wheel. Extra +14 Parrying skill for skill ups, and an extra +25HP on your legs.

The only part I can see better then other pieces is the hands, and thats ASUMING your parrying is capped.

So meh.

I like to use both smile.gif

In my current LS, the nins use arhats to tank gods. I tend to use scrop harness in experience parties for the added acc.

For soloing, evasion and agi are your strong points. But in terms of having to tank, more so at endgame, the +enmity and negative physical dmg are well worth it. For as much evasion equipment and agi there is out there for Ninja to use, you would think we wouldn't get hit. Since this is very untrue in the case of Gods, the CoP dragons, Kirin, any mob pretty much lv 80+ a ninja has that has to tank, is going to get hit regardless of how much evasion he has. Case being, go with arhat+1 body and head gear, jelly ring, earth staff, enmity gear and you'll have a better surival rate [if you count your team mates] and it never hurts to snag a defending ring off King Behemoth, heh.

Exp and Solo though, you can honestly go out in Ninja AF armor at 75 and hold your own pretty well on ep-dc, exp, and/or exploring. So it's just a matter of how much gil you would like to fork out, and what you see yourself being put up against in the near future.
