the allure of elemental farming is:
1)exp
this I find the best incentive. with ginger cookies to regen mp, you can get an average of ~2400exp/hr. Pretty decent for exp while farming if you ask me.
2)minimal competition
Sure, farming slime oils in Korroloka tunnel might technically be more profitable, but whens the last time you ahd the whole place to yourself?
3)guaranteed minimal gil/hr rate
An elemental will ALWAYS drop at least one cluster. I don't think you can say that about any other mob one farms. Even bees don't always drop beehive chips.
- And it's fun....

Noooooo!!! It wont open for me ; ; and I really wanted to see that too ; ; Do you know would a Red Mage be able to farm as effectively as a Black Mage for ele's in sky? I was thinking either RDM/BLM or RDM/NIN might work...any ideas?
