Yes good on robber crabs to get the city wins with less than 40 ppl but you shouldnt bragg about this since RC is run mainly by most of the dv members that left, and they do have a lot of experience doing dynamis together since they have been doing it for almost a year if i am not mistaken. It is easy to win when you have experience ppl to get the win with 30 ppl but when you have a random amount of players, and the standar roster changes every week is hard to get wins at first. this is a great idea by mug and aodh to establish a set group of ppl to do this and try to help others get the wins they need to move on to glacier. Plus these will help players look foward to their af if they are motivated to do this as a static dynamis ls. In my opinion there is no #1 NA dynamis shell in this server, but there is some that are better than others. An as they stayted before DV is the only NAdynamis shell to win beaucidine thanks to the effort of all the members and raddick and darien pulling aswell as others that i dont remember right now, these proof how far a group of ppl doing this for a while together can get if they are determine to do so.

Its hard to determine whose the best and what not. Primarily its because unlike other LS activities which you can do on a hourly/daily basis, Dyna is can only be done once every 72 hours and only for 3.5 hours at a time.
Since its a raid atmosphere with no onlookers, who knows who will and what not.
In the end, its just a matter of opinion or in the interent world.. Is my e-(insert male reproductive organ here) longer than yours.

Wow, yay, good for you!
I don't give a flying Rolling Stones record if you are, nor do the majority of people here. Whip-de-friggin'-doo that you beat the city Dynamis' with 40 people, pat on the back for you, but don't go walking around with a cane and top-hat thinking you're God's gift to FFXI.
A new shell will do fine, myself and many others I know are still without a Dynamis shell and many more are still leveling up.

Just word of advice for Aodh and Mugmug:
Running a Dynamis shell with static people every week, especially from different LS-es, is hard to achieve. People may have different schedule or things to do at a given time. Some people may have things to do in RL or LS event.
I remember of scheduling a Dynamis-Windurst run like 3 weeks ago, and there was a server reset. Half of the people are saying 'busy with LS raid'.
I think Rad**** was telling me that RC only had less than 30 people, because AoV was trying Jormugand, but they tried Dynamis-Sandoria and won.
Another important thing is that people come and go as they feel need. Some people only come for that city win or AF from that city. After that, they just disappear and come back when they need again. There's nothing wrong with it from individual's point-of-view, so people come up with rules/system that will benefit for everyone in LS eventually.
Anyway, I admit that losing people from DV was pretty hard for DV runs, but losing all DV officers have been worse, but I still tried my best to keep DV running. I even send tell to many people whether they are going to come or not. I didn't give them any warning, because people has the choice to come or not. I'm sure Aodh knows well, because I sent him tell about Windy run 2 weeks ago, but he decided to go with SBD for Bastok.
I posted in DV forum that we will be doing Dynamis Bastok on last weekend. When I logged in on Sat morning, I heard that RC was planning to do Bastok on Saturday, so I change the message that DV will probably run Jeuno if RC is in Dynamis Bastok. I saw Aodh message that he only wants to do Bastok, and not Jeuno (I think Jeuno doesn't drop SMN AF).
Around 6 PM EST, Rad**** sent me a message that he just heard that DV wants to do Bastok. So, Rad**** wanted to be fair by doing /random to decide who will do Bastok, so I asked Katar (who was already in Bastok) to do /random as DV reps, and Katar won, so we stick with Dynamis-Bastok.
Surprisingly, Aodh came to DV because DV decided to run on Bastok, and the SMN AF actually drops. Unfortunately, Mrmarsh was the lucky winner based on the point system. If Aodh didn't miss Dynamis run on the week before, he would have gotten his SMN AF since his lot was higher, but he had to let go since he lost by 1 point.
Anyway, best of luck, Aodh. I assume that I won't be seeing you in DV again. It's definitely not easy to lead a Dynamis LS, especially with different people and different schedule. Try to give a good example to lead a good Dynamis LS.

I am all in favor of a new NA dynamis LS
I think the problem with the NA linkshells on Titan is MICRO-MANAGING.
There is way too much of it.......
things such as......
- you can only get on the roster if your in so and so LS, but lets post all about it on a public forum.......
-you get points for showing up and negative points for not showing up.......
-you have to give the leaders notice before not showing up and has to be a relevent excuse (wtf, are we back in high school again?).........
-you cannot lot on a piece of AF you cannot wear --> dyanmis is always a gamble, everyone pays the same amount...you have no more right to a piece than anyone else regardless of that person's situation. if you enter dynamis you know its a random gamble(lot) to begin with....
-have to use A+ weapon and melee have to take food......this is so stupid....
wtf kind of nazi control freaks tell the members to use only a certain weapon......what about all the THF's using kraken? club is not A+, what about SAM's using polearm B+, or DRK using great sword A-......i can go on and on......
if you have ever been to dynamis with T3 or Flying Colors you would know what im talking about, they have no micro managing rules..... i really want to support a NA dynamis ls, but not until there is one that is fair.....
o....also i wanted to add for all dynamis leaders:::
#1. if you set a time... enter at that time or cancel. if time in lsmes says gather at 2:30 and enter at 3, then do it .............it is not fair to make everyone that was on time sit around for 2 hours while you wait for 1 or 2 AFK members, that is their fault they are late, not everyone else's.
#2. if you are very shorthanded, do not attempt dynamis. It is unfair to everyoen that paid, most likely you will be struggling to complete it, leaving hardly any farming time and probably alot of death, and lets be honest.....everyoen wants a piece of AF.......when you have to struggle to complete it, you will not be killing many mobs..
really thogh.....dynamis leaders shoudl know this........makes me think they want to enter because there are less ppl so more chance for them to get whatever they want...

hrrmmm sounds fun, dyn seems alot more fun IMO then camping HNMs for hours on end, and its not like you are obliagted to do anything but show up at the time you promised you'd show up every week.
i'd be down for sure, but you guys prolly already have enough 70 rangers.

Though I do agree with the rest of your post, I have to disagree with this one. As a whm I already have about 8 other people to lot against if a piece of whm AF drops, I'd be pretty pissed if someone with a level 1 whm lotted and won the piece. It's different if it's a piece of drg or bst armor, and there's no 70+ drgs or bsts there at the time. But if you lot on a piece of AF that you can't use and someone else can, you're just being a bastard.

1. Bid is not LS exclusive. Any and all LSs are welcome.
2. No points. Points are to drive attendance, not needed with a static setup.
3. Lot if you can use. To Ban's example above, I've lost on those gloves three times now, all to people who can't equip or are even within 5 levels of equipping. Congrats to them and those are the rules which I respect, but I don't think it's fair for such a rare drop to be stuck in a mog safe for weeks if not months.
4. No rules beyond 'Don't hinder the team'. To your point about being late, that hinders the team. Set time will be set time. If the majority of people can't be on time then this won't work.
To Ban's point, of couse I want my AF XD. I didn't say 'Only Bastok' tho, I would have gone to Jeuno. And I am an officer for SBD so I know how hard it is to run a shell, and I would really rather not. But I, along with Mugmug, feel that this type of setup will work. But that's only 2/40+ people. It really depends if we can get people who are interested in winning and coming every week to support it.
One thing Mug and I agree on is if we can't get the right people, we're not going to rush it. We want to do this right. None of the public Dynamis LSs are close to winning the northlands consistantly. RC is proving that its not a numbers game, it's the people. We want to get the right jobs and the right people and we'll wait for it.

I went my first 36 dynamises without a single RDM AF.. There are people who had 2 peices before I had a single one. They just were able to lot better than I on every one.

I know how that is. Ive been going to Dynamis since September/October. I got my first 2 pieces of PLD AF in the past 30 days.
Its all a gamble.

Well it doesn't help that the first 10 dynamises saw 0 RDM AFs.. I was one of the 4 RDMs that showed up for my first 4.

c_c been doing Dynamis since october and only have AFv2 boots and a booty Relic Maul which I'll never have the money to upgrade

Static Dynamis sounds good to me. The number of people you are competing against for AFv2 will drops as people get drops so you will have a lot better change of getting AF over long run.
I have been looking for a good Dynamis on the weekend. Once this get going it sound like it could be good.

Hell I'm down for Dynamis. Which LS I go with, I dunno. Sounds fun to try something new and challanging.
