Ok, I've tried to get this scroll eight times this last weekend and was unsuccessful every time and lost somewhere near 30k due to sneak oils and chocos. Is there anyone that can give me accurate directions on how to get to the treasure room with Utsutsemi:Ichi I came across three doors last night that were all blank when you clicked on them and none of them would accept a Silver Beastcoin.

Heres Zatoichi's post in another thread about it...
lll try to be specific becasue i just finished this quest myself:
In order to get Utsusemi: Ichi and Tonko: Ichi you will first need Norg fame. You need Lv9 fame what i did was complete the "Shady Business" quest in Port Bastok at least 30 times. You can check your fame in Jeuno without going all the way to Norg if you go into Neptunes Spire in Lower Jeuno. You have enough fame if the price of riceballs are between 152 and 148. Once you have done that head to Norg. I would tell you the NPC's names but i cant remember. The tonko quest guy stands in the middle of norg just off the dock where ryoma is he is waring puple armor. And the Utsusmei quest can be gotten from a guy wearing red armor, he is standing behind 2 or 3 shopkeepers and he paces back and forth. In ordre to get Tonko: Ichi head out from norg down the path until you reach the stone door that you opened to get to norg from there stick to the right hand side of the wall all the way until you reach the last room that has 1 slime monster in it. There should be 2 stone doors that you go thru after the inital one. Examine the ??? and you will obtain a sealed iron box. Take the box back to Norg and you get Tonko: Ichi.
Utsusemi: Ichi is much longer but not very hard. I did this starting from the entrance to the sea serpent grotto so thats where i will start.
Walk straight down the path until it forks, at the fork head left away from norg and stick to the left side wall until you reach L-13 then stick to the right hand side you come across a door like all the rest in Norg but this one need a silver beastcoin to be opened after you trade the silver beastcoin to the door continue following the right hand wall until you get to a branch off at I-10 go past that hallway and stay to the right. A little further up the path there will be a cliff on the right hand side that you can walk off of. go off the cliff and pass the Sea Bonze and just follow the path until you reach the treasure room. Watch the cutscene and suicide your way back to Norg.
Now ill gove you some advide that will make your life easier:
#1 HOMEPOINT IN NORG WHEN YOU DO THIS!!!
#2 CHANGE JOBS TO A LV1 CHARACTER SO YOU DONT LOSE XP SUICIDING
#3 SILENCE OIL IS EXPENSIVE TRY TO BRING A WHM OR RDM FRIEND THAT HAS SNEAK
#4 THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CHECK OUT THE MAP OF THE SEA SERPENT GROTTO ON THIS WEBSITE SO THAT YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL IM TALKING ABOUT
#5 LAST BUT NOT LEAST, ENJOY BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT...

A note from me... the door that he says accepts the silver beast coin has to be clicked on about 10 times until it says something about a silver glittering indent... only then will it accept the beast coin.
I followed these directions too... and I found my way no problem, but take a whm for your own sake ^^

Im just Curious HIRUNAO,
When u said u start at the entrance of the Sea Serpeant Grotto, did u mean thye entrance from the water fall area where u get to from the outpost or did u mean the entrance from NORG.
I have no map so there for me know the location from were i enter the grotto on this forums map is useless to me.
Help me out! i tried 2 times and got lost.

what craft & what level of that craft do you need to make the tools needed for the 2 utsusemi blinks? after i get 60+ rdm i plan on slowly working on my nin/war
