Nothing too amazing here. Did a little work on the gold mule today. Had a decent skillup session and went from 41-42.
Holy shit @ that gold dust synth though... What a pleasant surprise that was. I though I was gonna be stuck making those hellish silver bangles like I did 2yrs ago on my main. It's basically breakeven as well since I mine all my zinc ores

Not that great of an accomplishment, but I finally picked Bonecraft back up and dinged 66. Then got off my lazy ass and got my shades today.

They will certainly help with that glaring Vanadiel sun, especially in eastern/western altepa desert.

Looking at Bonecraft, I'd go for Beast Horn until 69 (farming your own ram horns and making ram leather also for extra gil), and then if you have Bone Purification you could do the Vivified Coral until 71 and Reraise Hairpin route until 80. If not, I'd be tempted to jump 10 levels up (sounds scary but with adv support it will be ok) and do Tigerfangs until 79.

I've returned to the game and I want to get some more CC levels under my belt so I've been doing profit synths to build up a bit of a bankroll.

Tonight I went 3/5 on Noct Brais +1 and 4/4 on Noct Doublet +1. This makes up for my 1/12 yesterday.

Still 0/life on devotee's mitts+1 though.

Yeah fishing skillups are completely different from other crafts. They are fairly slow to begin with, but they dont really slow down dramatically 60+ and 0.2 skillups remain fairly common.

If I fished to the 200 fatigue cap, I almost always got about 2 levels a day without pelican ring.

It really isnt until around the late 80s that you see a noticeable drop in skillups and this is because most of the 96-100+ fish have pretty bad bite rates so actual skillups can be few and far between.

I do recall getting mostly 0.1 skillups at 90+ but 0.2s still occur and I think it was bad luck more than anything that I did not get many. 0.3 skillups seem to only occur when fishing up legendaries but they occur at a fairly decent rate. I got quite a few while fishing up Liks and Gugrusaurus
