i got bad news about the program. it will be pushed back to a 2 month+ release

Can you say vaporware? Anyway the program you're talking about has been out for a year. Since S-E added the /seacom command it let's you truly pose, but still OLD'D

seno, this kinda thing is very longwinded. u comin up with one that will do it automatically in game? that meansNA version, but witht he ability to type jp in game...

the closes i've come to seeing so far is on www.ffxionline.com. what they did is use Jp version, convert NPC text to english. buff and debuff description in english too. but unfortunately, menus and menu text is mostly still in japanese. but since i've taken up jp, its not a big problem. but besides that, i can type jp, NPC speak to me in english. menus can be worked around ^^ AH is jp too though

1st of all, Im not jp, nor english, I'm an oriental from HK (I would just say chinese but all these damn gil-seller business). I have also been using this method a long time, I'm not using it to speak jp/chinese, nor I'm I trying to trick jp players to invite me, but simply adding some spice to my macros and make some advanced emotes to make jp players to have more of a familiar atmosphere when in PT with me.

a). NJ Star is good, but the thing about it is that it turns some stuff into garbage until you close the program, extremely annoying when you are trying to edit stuff. Personally I simply use the handwriting input provided with Windows XP, just open language toolbar and select IME Pad> Handwriting.

cool.gif If I can't find the letter I'm looking for then NJ-Star can be used as backup, NJ Star have a function to list all the symbols which is handy.

c) Net auto-translate function is also pretty good if you want to know something. Although I don't usually trust the output if I can't even read it.

d) for ideas for emote check: http://club.pep.ne.jp/~hiroette/en/facemarks/

e) If you want more fun like me and have spare lines of macro about check this out: http://www.geocities.jp/file_file_file_aaa/

No I didnt draw it, I simply copied the ascii art into my macros line by line. Simply press the macros in order and send peoples jaw wide open in amazement.

It's a racial slur against hispanic people. I think by now people figure out that spice = s-pice etc

Hmm? I mean like if you want your seek PT message, to display some of these characters, how would you do so? I don't see a 'more' button/tab/message anywhere. sad.gif

Hehe, senoska meant under the More section, its only 2 lines in the first post, guess its too brief to understand.

/seacom or /sc is the macro you need to use to put stuff in macro into search comment.
heres how to use it:
/sc 1 NA/jp pt ok
/sc 2 blah blah blah
/sc 3 Please Invite me
Just make this 3 line macro and you can insert any character in your comp.

Nice guide, but hmmmm - how is this different from simply using POLUtils to edit your macros? It's a .NET app, so it fully supports Unicode - you just use the standard Windows IME (or a JP keyboard if you have it) to enter the kanji...

Sen - great guide but here is my ?

I go to edit my macros in the editor - CTRL V etc, but when I go to save it does not update them in the game UNLESS I log out completely.

How do I get it so I can save the macro and have it show up in game?
