Please provide a little insight into how you manage hate.

I can't seem to even cast Dia or use Sic without drawing aggro off my pet? Sometimes even if I just rest I'll draw it and some BSTs are saying they are helping fight??? WTH am I doing wrong?? Any tips?? I've made it this far by charming EP-EMs and throwing them @ T-VTs. With no other interaction if I want to live^^

I let my pet attack the mob, walk to a save spot, heel it, and let it figh. U need to wait around 5 hits from your pet, and then u can do something, don't spam it, take it slow.

Atm i only use dia because all others are getting resisted. I still use my AF axe because of the lower damage, so u can hit the mob with your pet without taking hate, and build enough TP for a ws.

When its almost dead, walk away (still in fight modus with *) dia it, release it, and unleash ur ws

Could be because you're using weaker pets. You say you use easy prey pets against tough? That's probably why. You ought to use an even match pet against toughs, that way they will be performing better than an easy prey would be. They'll hit more, and harder, so any action you take probably won't be enough to make the mob face you.

Also, at around 30-35 you'll start noticing your pets tanking better and holding hate better. At my lvl I can join in almost instantly because my dmg is guaranteed to be lower than my pet's. In the early lvls, just hitting a mob once is enough to make it turn to you, even if your pet has been fighting for like 1 minute. Hope that helps.
