Ran across someone in a party that kept calling me a "cheap-ass ninja" because I didn't use Elemental wheel to keep hate on in imp camp. I had a mnk and war pulling hate off of me, but it wasn't a prolonged thing unless I had amnesia and they ws at start of fight. Curious to ask some of the vetern NIN out there what they use to keep hate. I've learned that warcry is a voke -1 basically and helps in certain situations, but for the most part I just zerg and keep pretty good hate minus the huge burst of damage from certain jobs, but most the time I can get hate back without trying after a second or 2.

Your katanas are fine, you can worry about Unji when you land more haste gear

W.turbans a must for haste/tp setup of course, an o.hat would be nice for a ws piece.

Spectacles are a good piece for their straight ACC+, but if your Jin's are lacking, trade these out for a Chiv. Chain.

SH and Haub are still valid, but remember your AF body is a very useful piece as well with a haste setup.

O.kotes work fine, but if your wanting more haste, save for dusk gloves. I dunno how much they are on your server, but i got mine not too long ago for 825k, which is a very nice undercut from the current price of 1M. It may seem like a big investment, but the haste is noticeable in large numbers, and earning money isnt to terribly hard with a lucky KSNM or two. Its how i bought mine.

Its a total pain in the ass i know, but work towards getting to go on a DM run and getting your Suppa. I still need mine myself because i cant find a competent group of people to get through it, but Dual Wield+ is always a stat to welcome. As for your other slot, id suggest a Minuet earring.

Snipers are great, just remember to keep Ruby's/Flames in your WS gear macro ^^

Amemet+1 is great as well, the only way you really could improve on it is a Cerb mantle+1 and we all know those are SO common lol ¬_¬ so dont worry about that.

Life belt is fine, but i recently upgraded to Potent belt and i find i dont notice -2 ACC loss but i do notice the +3 STR so i reccomend it.

Those RK breeches are trusty as ever. I know you have difficulty with getting a ls for events like them, but i cant stress how important a piece Byakko's Haidate is to NIN. Haste and all that dex in one slot cannot be beat. Other than that, i dont suggest dusk for a TP piece unless you have a job like RNG/COR sitting around that will use them more than your NIN will. NIN has better and less expensive options.

Fuma-sun ates are a great piece. no complaints.

The odds of you noticing the effect of 3 str is about as high as you noticing the effects of losing 2 acc.

Can someone please explain the offhand weapon to me? Is it better to have the weapon with lower delay in the first slot or the weapon with higher damage?

You want to put the weapon with the Higher DMG in your Main Hand.

The main hand is the hand that does the weapon skill, so the stronger weapon obviously wants to go in that slot.

Your offhand weapon gets a hit in the ws as well, but it's not as influential.

Besides using Ichi and using Ni for emergencies, no. Try to get Flash/Stun support for Whirl, it helps.

Noobie question here...which earrings would be recommended for xp? Currently I'm level 68, I static with a BRD so I'm using a minuet and a melody at the moment. Thinking of replacing the melody with something more DD based, but I'm not sure what...I think Triumph would be best for WS, but what about just TPing? Is something like a Merman's acceptable or should I just stick with an evasion earring? I'll have a Brutal at 75, but I need to redo DM to get a suppa (><) so I'm trying to think of what to use in the mean time. Thanks for any help.
