I think what Angelo means is that with the change of the format the recipe guides are in now, he isnt sure how to read it. I believe the level (first things the guide lists) is the max skill level that recipe will take your skill to. However, I took a look at cooking and I remember crafting Boiled Eggs (from BIRD EGGS) and got skill ups til lvl 6 I think if I remember right. The "new" format for the guides shows that its 0 for Boiled Eggs with Bird Eggs...which is incorrect...from reading that I would assume that you'd get NO SKILL UPS from making Boiled Eggs with a Bird's Egg which is incorrect. I base the way I am reading the new guide format on knowing that you will no longer get skill ups from cooking Insect Paste after lvl 29...which is what is listed for Insect Paset on the new format. So if that is how to read the new guide format, that the level listed first is the max it will take you to...then the guide for cooking at least needs fixed because Boiled Eggs from Birds Eggs will take you past 0....

Hmm...I just checked the cooking guide again...Sliced Carp at the beginning of the list with Skill Level of 0???? WTF is going on w/ the cooking guide?!?! Glad I printed it out a while back when it was easier to read and understand what everything meant....Sliced Carp is on page two of the recipe list on the old format. If you are skill 0 I would guess you would fail EVERY time you try to synth these materials...

Someone who's in charge of these lists...can you clarify?

It means that 0 is the earliest level you can make the recipe at. Meaning that you could make Boiled Eggs or Sliced Carp while your cooking level is still at 0. Personally I prefer the type which lists the level range since it gave me a good idea of when to stop crafting some thing.

I dont care WHO you are...I dont think at lvl 0 cooking you'll have ANY success making Sliced Carp...it's a recipe that caps at lvl 11 if I remember right...you're gonna succeed maybe 1 outta 6 or 12 combines WITH the adv imagery is my guess. WHO WOULD WANT A LEVELING RECIPE GUIDE WITH THAT TYPE OF HELP? rofl

Oh yes, plus...as I said in previous post...Insect Paste caps leveling your skills at lvl 29...if these Skill Level numbers are to reflect the earliest level you can create these recipes...why is Insect Paste listed at 29 when thats when your skill caps and STOPS leveling up....

Please...someone who made this list...tell us how to use it now...thx

You're thinking about Sliced Sardines dumbass. Sliced Sardines are from skill level 6-11 to get decent chance of success. Read what that said. It says Sliced CARP.

As for the lists, I replied from what I noticed. And I noticed that it usually lists the level where making the item gets you over 75% success rate WITHOUT Advanced Image Support from the guild.

PS: I'm a Leatherworker. Not a chef...yet.
