Falcastra i skipped. went from af1 to brb. to vassago's then darksteel. with sushi the 5 acc loss didnt matter at all. also as im typing this i dont remember if you had subduer listed. and i only used one snip with brb. scythe and hit fine. the +25 attack is pure magic.

Well, it's all right. May I make a few suggesttions?

Buy X2 Sniper's Rings or 1 Sniper + Venerer first and foremost. Use the Sun rings for your WS macro.
Save up for Haubergon because it is *very* helpful. You can sell it back and buy Hauberk when the time comes also.
Get rid of the Aiming Bracelets. Sacrificing that much attack for that much accuracy is useless. Just buy Royal Knights Mufflers (Acc+3).
Your X2 Fang Earrings are decent, but having one Assualt Earring and one Fang is much better.
Re-Raise Gorgets are nice for things w/o a whm or Dynamis etc etc, but for exp I would stick with a Royal Guards Collar (Acc+4, Attack+4)
Life Belt is good and have Swordbelt+1 is nice for WS macro also.
Silver Hairpin is useless imo. Get Royal Knights Bascient until AF Helm.

Well, looks like you got to start saving some money. Dont be discouraged, you can get this through farming/crafting/BCNM's but it will take time.

I did the same, skipped straight to the Barb, and with Sushi on I was dealign 100 to 120 on IT beetles unbuffed. That Scythe is nasty for it's level if you're willing to put the time into the ACC. That +25 Attack is godly.

I used a Webcutter from 24 - 30 it's awesome ra/ex and barely camped. The added stun against vermin was great. Went off atleast once per fight. I also leveled on beetles & spiders from 23ish to 33 which was great just having the mobs stop stupid for a few seconds. Eventually I did swap out for a merc captian's scythe though. Around 33ish.

You new DRKs are lucky. Back when I used Barb Scythe, there were no sushi and Mithkabobs/Chiefkabobs were the best food a DRK could use, bar none. I never had the luxury of dual sniper's as well so I would miss tons and had to give that scythe up for Bone Scythe. But OMG do I often weep for the damage that I did ; ; esp on Rumble Crawlers ;p

I had them both... (My GF got Falcastra as a drop when she was getting a Castle Zval Baileys key for AF) and gave it to me... I already had Barbarians scythe... I didn't see much difference in accuracy but Falcastra hit like a ...

i did get rid of the aiming braclets for the gloves
as for the gorget i didn't replace one (keep in mind Reraise Gorget is Acc+3 Ranged Acc+3 enhancement Reraise II) because it's only 1 less Acc+ and it does have a Ranged acc+ which helps me skill up crossbow and the Reraise II is really nice for when my n00bieness kicks in and i get my self killed in a 15-25 zone
the helmet you were talking about i had for a little while and then sold to help pay for Vassago's Scythe 750k on Carbuncle server (damn price jackers) the Silver hairpin i got out of some one's Bazaar for like 50 gil <.< the Hauby i might be able to barrow from a friend for a while when i get 59 (keep in mind i'm still 58 T-T) the Assault earring would be nice but i'm broke and they're 500k on Carbuncle server as for the sun rings i'll get as soon as i get some accuall money >.< oh yeah and as for the Snipper Rings they were gifts and i can't sell them =P

Birdman, nice guide! As a Galka with hi dex and low Mana I have a couple of suggestions for my race. I have a mana and electrum ring and a Gold hairpin for added Mp. I use sushi. I use absorb spells at the begining of each fight. I don't have any problems with my acc. (although if I am in the labirinth of onzozo those f'n cats can be a bitch. But not just for me but everyone.) I keep up real good with my skill chain partner. congalkalations on the sticky

If you've got a Life Belt, Snipers or a Sniper and Venerer and the +acc hand armor, I wouldn't think the Barbarian's Scythe would inhibit your accuracy that much. I'm one level away from trying it out myself, but it seems that as it is I have a pretty good chance on hitting things within a reasonable level range (didn't enjoy the level 48 fighting a Antican Princeps IT experience, though).

i couldn't stand the barbarian scythe i hated that damn scythe soooo much x_x i couldn't even hit Too Weaks with that stupid scythe i sold it the next day and stayed with Raven Scythe until 53 =P

Kunoichi, you should give it a whirl. Humes have crappy dex to start so the -5 acc hurts them more then it will hurt you. That +25 attack was wonderful. I tried the bone scythe but it sucked. Eat some sushi and swing away. You'll be fine.
