only time bard sub is of any use is in jungle if your party needs attack accuracy imo. /nin is nice with shadows to take damage and dual wield axe is good up to 60. INT boost works well for Guillotine as well.

Excuse me but i have a question for Dark Knight. I wanna take this job to 75. I have 61DRG and 64PLD. I was wondering.... Should I level NIN to 37 for a sub then level THF to 37 for a sub? Or just THF to 37? I have 22NIN so i thought should level it if needed for Highier leveled purposes. I haven't played in awhile and when i started playing again, i found DRK very interesting. I just thought i needed some pointers.

Yeah thats what im doing right. My warrior is level 36. My THF is....very low so i gues ill work on that. My Samurai is also level 36. So I guess im pretty set. Leveling NIN wont be a problem. They'll need a tank who is horrible with hate and thats where NIN comes in. But yeah. Thanks.

Well Thf these days is only used in end game. Nin isn't far off. So technically it can wait till you're at least 60. Maybe even 70.

I've had all 4 jobs leveled. I spend most of my time at 75 as /sam. I did /thf for awhile but that was before the sam update.

Just did a pt last night as DRK40/BLU20 with a pl. Absolutely insane when souleater's up. Did 4 Bludgeons for 210 each and almost did a 5th on the next mob a couple of times but wore during the pull. Highest one I did was 250ish, lowest 180's. Bludgeon is 3 hits, so yeah, if you want to be popping near 1k damage over 12 hits + melee @ lvl 40 you really must have a pl, no doubts about it. Without pl you can still get away with 1 bludgeon, maybe 2 if your healers are ready for it. Head Butt procs decently well too, nothing to rely on but if you're just throwing out stuns to help, having a stun that costs half the mp and does damage is cool. Healing Breeze + Sheep Song for auto-regen too, and emergency curaga if really needed.

Seems the first post has nothing on /MNK sub, while I'm only level 20 right now, I'm loving /MNK much more than /WAR or /WHM for this job. I don't think it will compare to berserk or sneak attack at 30 with /WAR or /THF though. The extra VIT and HP is nice for when you pull aggro, and boost has been more useful than steal or provoke (A weaponskill has usually done the trick for me so far). At 30 I'll switch to /war for berserk, and 60 will be /thf for SATA.

Replacement for 70-75 back slot: Abyss Cape when available.....i only know one guy other than me on Asura that has one, but meh. +7 accuracy +7 WS accuracy & +7 Magic Accuracy, and a bit of def and i'm rarely whiffing on spinning slashes as a non thief sub.
