strifey :yesterday, i had a party with a drk who refused to SC because his Guilotene was so godly but with his lack of gear he only landed 2 hits.

Strifey, it was either Guillotine > Tachi: Koki or I solo Guillotine not because Guillo is godly, but because Vorpal Scythe SUCKS. I refused to use Vorpal Scythe, not to skillchain.

If you don’t want to take my word for it, just ask anyone who’s above 60…they will tell you that ALL scythe weapon skills pre-60 SUCKS. They will tell you that Guillotine > any SAM ws + MB will do more damage overall than Vorpal Scythe > any SAM ws + MB. And ask anyone who’s above 60 and they will tell you that R. K. armor has better stats than DRK AF. I have all my AF except for headpiece, and the fact that I wear R. K. armor in battles is actually a GREAT thing. My TP was always >160 when yours reach 100.

Before you go twisting the truth to compensate for your ignorance again, talk to our other PT members that day: Daour, Giyari, Notus, and some other guy.

Well, id like to say my static party is one accomplishment. Also kicking archdukes ass with my static party(2 of his weaponskills missing me was also nice^^) Then fighting Lumber Jack with my LS, awesome. I give a /bow. I couldn't find a better bunch of people then anyone from this LS. Now im off to bed. (I HATE YOU FROM THE BEGINNING, inside joke with my static party)^^. Good night~

Let's keep this thread going...I like hearing people's goals and acomplishments - it makes me happy, and there are waaaaay too many negative threads out there. We gotta balance it out somehow ^^;


My upcoming goals are to finish my last two pieces of thf AF while I level to 60 then finish leveling sam and nin subs to 37 then get set up with two sniper rings and the best gear I can get from then on out.

Accomplished quite a bit lately... Just yesterday I blew the most money I've ever had at one time on a single spell. But, now I am the proud owner of Phalanx ^^

Also yesterday I completed my first piece of AF armor more or less on my own. Don't know how much you guys know about the Red Mage AF boots quest but I am also now the proud owner of Warlock Boots ^^ ... course the only problem is I have to be lvl 52 to wear them... which in turn would mean completing Genkai 1.

Farming batallia down tigers off and on for 8 days to get enough money for a Gluttony Sword. Finally bought it two days ago. That's the best 300k I've ever spent.

Wow, that’s a nice list! Btw, if you see me online (and anyone else for that matter) and need help with genkai1, don’t hesitate to ask. (Worst I can say is that I am busy, but I’ll normally try and help if I’m not doing LS stuff or in a PT with my main job)

Hey, I'm sorry for Strifey bringing this here. I'm just looking for "Honor and Discipline," and have no problem dropping the subject.

erm just want to bring up a few points the reason my tp would be 100 when yours was 160 was i was doing 2 seperate chains, im not dissing all your gear but at 60+ you should have more then 2 dex rings. these equations you come up with are correct but you forgot Guilo+any sam ws = not possible to do distortion which raptors are weak too, so yes Guilo is strong but using a mb that raptors will resist too isnt wise. as for those others (that arnt in your ls) we wanted to disband because of your foolish nature of not wanttiing to do the correct skillchain i apologize to the others in the party please dont hold this against me i just think stabbing could of been a bit wiser.

No, you were doing two skillchains in the last 10 minutes before pt disbanded, you only skillchained with the PLD TWO times during the entire stay. Prior to that when you were only skillchaining with me, your hit rate was <50% and mine was 75-80. As for my rings, I had Snipers’ at lvl40 and didn’t see a slight difference. Now at 60, the price rose to almost 300k and I was farming for the rings when I got an invite. But the way I see it is, my R. K. armor and everything I have is better than a DRK in AF + 2 Sniper’s.

The fact that a couple of people in the pt are in my ls has anything to do with the fact that Guillo > any SAM ws + MB is better than Vorpal Scythe > Tachi: Enpi + MB. Notus, the japanese BLM, isn’t in my ls and he was the one who insisted that we do Guillo > Koki. And to my understanding, Raptors are only resistant to Fire. Since our skillchain was Thunder/Wind, I didn’t see much of a problem. Sure, they’re weak against water, but the other skillchain’s weak weapon skills makes the chain’s overall damage much weaker.

We couldn’t form a good skillchain, which meant bad EXP, which is led to the PT disbanding.
Listen, you can portray things any way you want and you can pick on my character’s one little imperfection, but as far aas the argument we had about which skillchain to use, you’ve gotta admit…you’re the foolish one.
