I've been maintaining it, Uni.
I've been meaning to add Rabbit Pie and a few other items (hence my current question regarding Cuchulain's Mantle), but I try to hold off until we're certain of where things come from. It's not a hard-and-fast rule, of course, seeing as I have Hachiryu Haramaki on the lists, but so be it. I'll think about Meteor Cesti.

NQ (3 hours, All Races)
HP +20
Attack +20% (Cap: 50 @ 250 Base Attack) (Verified)
Accuracy +10% (Cap: ??)
HQ
4 hours, All Races)
HP +25
Attack +21% (55 cap)
Accuracy +11%
Seems like a decent long term food

Be a nice food for colibri if you were a little low on acc, and could afford to keep eating these XD.

And the fact that lolibri will jack your pizzas costing you quite a bit of gil in the end.
So eating pizza whilst fighting lolibri would be a pretty stupid thing to do. Unless you have lots of gil to waste. It's not really worth it in my opinion.
Path, can we add "a slice of Roast Mutton" to the low level food section? Granted it does not stack, it does provide better stats than meat jerky. And if somone is going to dedicate some time leveling from 1-8 or so, the fact that it lasts three hours can be nice.
But then again, if you die often it would be a waste.
I leveled my mage jobs to 10+ easily eating this, subbing MNK, and beating on things with a club. Fields of Valor helps a lot too.

Uh... I'll think about it. While I do tend to use either Grilled Hare or Roast Mutton when leveling up a job 1-10, I also tend to get my ass kicked a lot because those are the levels when you're really learning how utterly dogshit awful a job is (with the exception of Monk and possibly Dancer, I really hate leveling up to 10 and would happily pay Square-Enix if they'd just let me skip it). I tend to think of food as being something to start thinking about around Valkurm levels, although even on my mage jobs I tend to solo 'til 20-something, but don't really care until the 20s and I imagine a lot of people tend to share my disposition. The really obnoxious thing is that, say, I'll get bored and decide, "Oh, man, I should level up Blue Mage because I clearly don't hate myself enough" and after about 20 minutes of trying to learn Pollen unsuccessfully, I'll decide I'm done, but I've still got 160 minutes left on my bloody useless Grilled Hare.

Ambrosia all the way.
I think ambrosia is 1-10 only. Have you tried it? Its insane how much you can rape the shit out of things eating this food. I died after i think hitting lvl 11 wasting the food but i lvled 1-10 in about 40 min? something like that. also forget what job it was.. maybe monk.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the food effects lasting too long. I can't tell you how many times I was lvling low level'd jobs and having to go to an endgame event, despite the fact that my jack O hasn't worn off yet. I think if we know that we're going to be low leveling for a while, then eating a 3 hour food can have it's benefits.
To DarkRift,
No I haven't tried ambrosia. I have most of the jobs I need or want level'd to at least the late teens. I have BRD at 1 and maybe I'll try ambrosia if I decide to level it.
But with the field manual (regen and reraise ftw) around in most low level areas, it only goes that much quicker nowadays.
But I do agree with you. Ambrosia does help incredibly with those boring low levels.

I have completely reworked this post to reflect the current level 80 situation. I don't look forward to needing to update again at level 90, but I have trimmed some of the out-dated information and set a reasonable template for future needs. Input always appreciated.

You should note that OA3 is actually still only OA2, but at around 70-80% proc rate with Footwork, just so it doesn't catch someone off guard.

That's a point. I'll try to figure out how best to explain that and patch it in.

Very well structured update. Thank you.
I've got a friend of mine that's a up and coming Mnk (currently 62lvl), and he's a tad stumped on what gear he should be using. I'm trying to help him but I think this will make it a lot easier for him, since it's consolidated info.
He's also lvling cooking. So, I'll get to use more of those food options at a greatly reduced cost. Lol

As always, feel free to ask for advice on gearing. Some options aren't entirely worth the effort (going out of your way to get Avengers, for instance, or Cobra Cap/Subligar) and others can be rather flexible depending on availability and budget (Chivalrous Chain is inferior to Peacock Charm, but it won't break you if you can't swing the gil for Charm).

Did anyone ever figure out the secret latent on those?

I don't think anyone cares. I mostly just included them because there are some folks who've had a pair sitting in storage for 5 years since they got their Bomb Queen Ring and it wouldn't be terrible to haul them out into daylight again until they hit 80 and finish off one of several Magian weapons. I hate how they look, but I accept that I'm in the minority in that situation. I also tried to focus primarily on Rare/Ex weapons because, quite frankly, finding crafted weapons can be a serious pain these days. I don't know why as people are still compulsively leveling, but I guess the bottomed out profit margin on virtually everything has disincentivized crafters.

I'll agree with you that they look fucking hideous.
