I am looking for information on any San ninjitsu. So far I know nothing, but would like some leads... (quested or dropped and where, levels to use etc.)

Also, I am trying to find information on when a ninja gets the 4th lvl of dual wield and what the delay reduction on it is.

Finally I am looking for info on the quested Weapon skills... at what katana lvl do they apply and when/where do we start the quests?

If anyone has any information to offer at all I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

#3 Ryoma gives you the quest for the Uber-ninja WS... you should know who he is ^^

1.) SAN ninjitsu has not been implemented. I contacted many lvl 75 JP they said it does not exist to their knowledge. If you check out jp sites, never do they mention SAN ninjitsu. Unless it is THAT hidden that even 1 year later, hardcore JP people still can't find it.

2.) answer above. ^^;;

3.) Im not 100% sure how it works. But i see lvl 60 people doing the WS quest, so i'm assuming Blade:Jin. I'm guessing the last 3 WS must be quested.

San Ninjitsu would be the third level of ninjitsu, if it's there.

Ichi is one, Ni is two...

So it's the same stuff, but more powerful.

Blade: Jin is not quested. I got it when I hit 200 skill. As far as I know, neither is the 225 skill weaponskill. The only weaponskill that you must quest for is the last one at 250.

So the people that hit lvl 60 questing WS is doing the 250 ws quest?

Wonder why people are so in a rush to do the quest.

I can't even imagine having an Utsusemi:San. That would just be insane stacking all three of them together.

san exists. i've checked the ffxi tool and the san scrolls are indeed there. but it hasn't been implemented into the game yet.

just like fenrir for the summoner job. it's in the game, just not yet implemented.

who knows? maybe san will be implemented in one of the updates before the ps2 release. it sounds an awful lot like the fernir summon will be coming into play on the 26th, after all.

Utsusemi:san sounds wicked. Heck, even if it were the same as Utsusemi:Ni it would still be great because you wouldn't have to mess around with ichi anymore (good enough spell, but wayy too long to cast).

The

final WS is Blade: Ku, and the quest for it cannot be started until you are lvl 71+ and have

250+ skill in katana. If you meet those requirements, Ryoma gives you the quest.

... Unfortunately, since ninjas have an A- in katana, they don't achieve 250+ skill until

lvl 72. :cry

Tonko: San lvl 59

Utsusemi: San lvl 62

Elemental Ninjitsu: San lvl 65

Check FFXI Mystery Tour for more info in the Ninja Scrolls area.

http://mysterytour.web.infoseek.co.jp/ffxi/us/index.html

Whether or not it actually exists I do not know yet (If its patched into the game) Try /nin "Utsusemi: San and you will get back that you cannot cast Utsusemi: San.

As mentioned, it is there in code, just as the fenrir smn magic was. Easily tested by EriuBryce's method of attempting to cast via /nin "Utsusemi: San" .
