I was on the boat to Mhuara , Blackbeard skeleton when pirates came. it poped, Imposible to gauge, checked allakahzam and check somepage.comm, nothing. anyone know this NM is for and what it drops? it did BUrst and Wateraga III , couldnt solo it neither could the 75 bst on the boat

Even though I went to kill her the other day and it didnt pop for 4 hours+.

I have not been able to log on yet, but as soon as I get on i'll ride the boat
and see if me and my wife can take it out.

i took 1340 dmg from burst . BST only got it to quarter of its life then warped. then i fought it , 2hoursed it was hitting me for 30+ each and i was doing not good dmg on it either. burst and wateraga really just fucked me up

my have some kind of perma-phalanx or stoneskin on. Did you ever try dispelling it? See if a magic finale or ele-seal dispel can get it off. He doesn't seem to be a hard hitter and casts magic so he would obviously be a mage (or a ranger at close range......i kid, i kid ) or he might be like the archangels which can fully implement everything of all jobs they are :/

Found 4 Silverhooks and no Blackbeards yet. No drops yet either... -.-

Silverhook is on a two-hour spawn. It will only spawn when pirates appear, and ONLY if the center pirate is wearing a vermillion cloak. My guess is that Blackbeard and Silverhook share the same spawn. Blackbeard is supposedly much stronger than Silverhook.

Silverhook threw Sleepga II, Flood, Freeze, Burst, Flare, Blizzard III, Waterga III, Ice Spikes and a few others at us while killing 'em. Has a Meikyo Suishi two-hour that it uses to spam hell slash and other fun abilities. Two competent 75 White Mages can solo this, or a party of 3-4 (stun helps immensely, as his magic is very strong). Took about 6000 damage to put it down (3x Hexa Strike to Black Halo, with normal melee damage and Banish III to soften it up/do damage).

PS: His ancient magic is very VERY strong. Did 916 to me through stoneskin and 110 Water defense with Flood.

I was just fishing on boat, and in come the pirates. I'm not sure if its normal, but I noticed 3 people on the other boat, probably summoners or something, middle one in a Vermillion Cloak. They did a casting motion, and the skeles pop. Blackbeard was one of em. Killed a 55 drk in 3 hits, and hit my 75 whm friend, who was in fishing gear, for 500 something dmg from thunder III. :idiot

I promptly warped out, and after I zoned I checked the time.

Lightningday, ~3, waxing crescent.

But man, don't mess with this NM unless you have a bunch of 75s, he's STRONG.

2 WHM is not 'solo'

Anyway normal pirates pop in foggy weather. I guess these are the same, with a chance of NM being with them? Or from the sounds of it, they now always have an NM, but sometimes he is the stronger one.
