2hours each pop my ass lol.... i've been here for 4 hours no pops, Tyche has been on the other boat for about 2 hours, same. When I arrived a friend of ours said they've been on the boat for 6 hours w/o a pop. So the 2hours each Silverhook is def wrong.

update of how my fight went...dmg pld/nin gear using kinkobo ripped him apart. Hauby+1, kinkobo, creek gloves/boots, valor breechs(love how its +5 str now), warwolf belt, amemet+1, flame rings x2, cassie and minuet earring and peacock charm, popped pamama, used haste belt and got haste from my alt whm, and yes they stack. Total dmg taken was about 500 cuz i didn't get hit by normal hits, was taken by black cloud and blood saber. went as whm/drk also. Was doing 150 dmg per staff hit, 50-75 with club hits, 500-700 dmg ws.

Now with the NM info, club isn't 100% drop, as it didn't drop for me, the NM has 9k+ dmg...i did a total of 9482 dmg when it died and i didn't kill with WS. I forgot to use dia on it, its spells can be interupted rather easily as i interupted 2 ancient magics by just normal attacks but has stun for aga3's which he didn't use. It didn't give me any exp for 2 lvl 75 players.

edit: was on ship Selbina > Mhaura, was also Silverhook that i fought.

Found 4 Silverhooks and no Blackbeards yet. No drops yet either... -.-

Silverhook is on a two-hour spawn. It will only spawn when pirates appear, and ONLY if the center pirate is wearing a vermillion cloak. My guess is that Blackbeard and Silverhook share the same spawn. Blackbeard is supposedly much stronger than Silverhook.

Silverhook threw Sleepga II, Flood, Freeze, Burst, Flare, Blizzard III, Waterga III, Ice Spikes and a few others at us while killing 'em. Has a Meikyo Suishi two-hour that it uses to spam hell slash and other fun abilities. Two competent 75 White Mages can solo this, or a party of 3-4 (stun helps immensely, as his magic is very strong). Took about 6000 damage to put it down (3x Hexa Strike to Black Halo, with normal melee damage and Banish III to soften it up/do damage).

PS: His ancient magic is very VERY strong. Did 916 to me through stoneskin and 110 Water defense with Flood.

Are mithra small or that skeleton is just a giant?

No... Silverhook killed me, WHM75/NIN37 sub and a PLD67 along with me, his spells are wickedly strong and doesn't seem possible to silence him, you will run out of mp eventually unless you die from Waterga III instantly <.<

And yes, the skeleton is quite big, both Silverhook and Blackbeard are larger than the other skeletons around.

Their melee is quite weak and nothing to worry about, nor is their Hell Slash or typical skeleton AoE, the only threat is their spells, Flood, Freeze, Burst, Waterga III, Blizzard III, these things HURTS.

Blizzard III hit the PLD with Barblizzara (casted with AFv2 pants and Blessed Briault) for 600dmg and Waterga III on us hit us for 600 average, 800 if it only hit one of us.

Never got hit from AM since PLD usually managed to stun it (Silverhook) most of the time.

We COULD have won the fight if I had been more prepared to exactly what he would be doing, but I could definately not have solo it.

Got Blackbeard today and the drop too. He is really easy my Hundread Fist took more than 90% his HP and he die under 1 min... Here the ss of the drop and the club enjoy.
