the biggest one i can think of for you guys is that since most of the noob "i want a fast ride to 75 and be l337" rangers will quit, seriously killing demand on arrows/ranger armor/bows and guns, making ranger a bit cheaper (i know how ridiculous ammo is getting, but demand drops as significantly as i think it will, crafters will start undercutting to move their supply). It'll just take awhile for the economy to adjust to the massive amounts of people quitting the job since it's not "zOMG all uBer".

another benefit is that you lose the stigma of people saying "you're only playing ranger because it's easy to level" and "god damn, what's with all the cocky rangers". You'll be left with the truly hardcore who love the job...just like drg was left with. Instead you get a stigma simillar to drg's, which basically is "omg they got nerfed!!111" which isn't that bad at all, since you can prove that you're still a viable DD. Just so you're not alone, let's go thru all the job stigma's...maybe it will help you cope better

so just remember everybody has challenges to overcome. Worst case scenario, once each servers arrow prices drop, it'll be a little cheaper at least

Okay gonna slightly address the topic I guess...

They will just reroll to some other job where more skill is required than they have and we will ALL eventually party with them at some point unless you like static all the time. These half-asses could pick up Rng and still be somewhat golden. Now put the same person with that half-assing mentality into any other DD and what do you now have?

Arrow prices. I can see this as going either way. The prices will drop for sure if the demand sinks but this could also mean less arrows overall available if the crafters dont see a point in making arrows. Yeah I know arrows are the best skill up for Woodworking but the economy works in mysterious ways sometimes.

The Stigma. Yeah its cool that its gone but the hardcore Rngs that are left still need to deal with the adjustments SE has put in. Imo its a fairly large adjustment. Imagine what blms would say if spell casting dmg was now affected by distance betweent he caster and the mob. Or if Cure potency deimished when the distance between the caster and receiver increased. Or maybe if you need to be at a certain distance for provoke to work @ 100% efficiency. Not saying that it cant be overcome but it is a pretty significant change in how the job is/was played.

I think thats the worst moments for Rng: no one knows if the patch is going to kill them or not not alot of ppl have tried out new things about ranged attack.
In this time alot of ppl (i think they are stupid) will say that rng i snow useless and cant do any dmg at all.
I think this is worng i think SE made that their power is near the one they had before but harder to use it: watch for the mob, the distance and all, but i rlly think they will still do great dmg.

If you going to falme me saying well you speaking shit shit bla blah drg are rng enemies they hate each other plz dont say it, if i wasnt lvling drg (b/c its my favorite job) i would be lvling rng.

for the price of arrows, well i think that they will drop in the next week and then (when every one sees that nerf isnt that bad) will come back to original prices

The funny thing is NOONE is bashing Monk. Infact on the contrary Monk was already a prolific job capable on owning mobs in KRT to chain40s and beyond with only so much as a healer.

What people are saying is Monk will now be contender for the BEST damage dealer, since RNG now falls behind almost everyone.
