This guide can be used for any NM, i find it most useful for small-medium spawn area monsters though.

Mmk this is just gonna be a short guide (couple lines o.O) of how "I" camp Leaping Lizzy. Now, this is after the update so camping him would only get you :rare :ex Boots known as "Bounding Boots"..

Now for my strategy, I like to stand at the bottom of that small hill at lizzy spawn, EAST of the weird tower/pillar thing.

Now once you are in an area you like, just make 2 macros,

CTRL1 MAP
/map

That's it. Macro > Wide Scan > Esc > Macro > Wide Scan > Esc > ...

CTRL2 CHARM/VOKE/SHADOWB
/ja "Charm/Voke/ShadowBind"

Now if your using a BST or RNG as sub or main job (which you should be) this macro will use the job ability you have to claim the monster. Now note that if you are too far away you will just get an error. Follow your radar until you can see the NM and spam away.

How about THF/RNG?? Thats what I used to camp as before the update and it worked great for me. I wouldnt recommend using THF until after you get flee at lvl 25. You just look for Lizzy on widescan, then when she pops flee and run up to her and use steal to get claim. Treasure Hunter doesn't hurt either.

Actually, steal is kinda slow to claim. I used to farm rams and for a while, you practically had to treat them like NMs. I camped as THF/RNG and I found that standing back a little bit before you get to the mob and throwing a dart actually claims more quickly than running up and using steal. You have to get a good feel for the wait after you stop moving before you hit your ranged macro so that you don't get interrupted though.

THF/BST is sorta like THF/WAR and THF/RNG combined, since /BST gives you widescan and you can't charm NMs, but charm will claim the NM

I camped as a gimped THF37/RNG7, so my WS was just the right size to cover all of Lizzy's spawn area ^^

I camp things as thf/rng. I claim them with my gun. It's all in how you use it.
