I've taken all the information we've gathered and organized them as best as possible. Hopefully this will serve as a future guide for all us to reference to. As more and more concrete information comes in, I will add them here and correct them as we go along. So, check back here often as I will update this whenever I can. Maybe all of this will lead to popping possible "gods" of Lumoria. Stay tuned!

Thank you to all those contributing useful information towards figuring this out.

- Aselin

maybe you fight them in the obelisk?

any idea where any of the items come from yet? someone said you can get a stack (99) virtue stones by trading something to the NPC next to meret (In The Name Of Science quest giver)

That I'm not sure.

People are finding 6 HQ versions of certain enemy organs in Al'Taieu.
I'm thinking those will be needed to acquire the 3 different stones for 18 stones total to spawn 6 gods.

Or... 6 HQ Organs = needed to get 2 Stones + 1 Deed
... per god for 18 items total

And, there are these items called "Deeds" as mentioned in another forum.
My theory is that once you kill an Al'Taieu god, it'll drop a deed as proof of killing it, similar to the seals you get from the 4 Minor gods in Ru'aun Gardens: Seal of Genbu, Seal of Seiryu, etc.
If getting all 6 Deeds, you can pop the final, seventh god (or Virtue), like Kirin.

Or... it could be the other way around:
2 Stones + 1 Deed spawn = 1 god
-> drops a 3rd Stone of 6 possible ones: First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Virtue stones

Again, that's all speculation.

We're gonna need more concrete proof as more and more people find these items.

As where we fight them, like you said, could be at each of the obelisks. However, people are finding these ???'s sometimes not near them. :/

There are also ???'s inside the Temple. -.-;

So I'm guessing here:
???'s inside Temple -> spawns NMs that drop the Stones
???'s outside in Al'Taieu -> spawns the 6 gods
There should then be a final ??? somewhere around here that spawns the 7th and final god.

Did an error... ok, more theories and made a correction. -.-;;;

let's see...

- there are 5 HQ Organs + 1 HQ Chip *corrected*

- a possibility of 18 Stones total (6 Aura, 6 Sin, and 6 Vice Stones): 1 Set of 3 stones per god

- there are also 6 Virtue Stones: First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth

- there are also 6 possible Deeds (looking for more info on this). Deeds were mentioned and it's in the .dat files

Could god spawn be: 3 Stones (Aura + Sin + Vice) + 1 Deed?

Could god drop: 1 Virtue Stone (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th)?

Could 6 Virtue Stones pop a 7th god?

I'll start running around in the gardens for positions and dialog from these. This is great info.

If I could offer my own observation, each of the five ???'s ask for various deeds, virtues, and receptacles of Al'Taieu's inhabitants. I'll edit this post with more details in a bit.

Also, only 5 HQ organs exist, with the 6th being an HQ version of the new Luminian Chip, called a "Ghrah M Chip."

Again, very good info, and I'll be editing this soon. tongue.gif

EDIT/UPDATE/WHATEVER:

This is the exact dialog from each of the ???'s in Al'Taieu. Oops, only 4. XD

I looked at the new items and I seen 2 chips...

Right, there's the "NQ" Luminion Chip, and an "HQ" Ghrah M Chip. Trading Luminion Chips to Meret gives you a stack of 99 Virtue Stones just like any other NQ organ.

let's see if I can translate this and add the research I did above...

First Virtue @ D-9
- Related Virtue: Samadana “balancing of the mind”
- Deed of Tranquility and Serenity
- Receptacle from Phauba (sp?)

Second Virtue @ F-11
- Related Virtue: Titiksha - “Cessation of desire”
- Deed of Restraint and Willpower
- Receptacle from Xzomtl (sp?)
- Possible Sin stone? Sin of Indulgence

Third Virtue @ L-8
- Related Virtue: Sama – “mastery over the mind”
- Deed of Rationality (maybe)
- Receptacle from Hpemhd (sp?)

The 4th one is unusual:
- requires 3 Virtue Stones: Fourth Virtue, Fifth Virtue, and 6th Virtue

Could the 4th ??? you found be this:
Acquire 3 Virtue Stones (4th, 5th, and 6th) and it will pop an sub-Boss NM?

I heard of there being 4 additional ???'s in the Palace on another forum (can't find that link).

What confuses me is that there are 4 question marks, hmm, is there 6 or just 4?

Correcting as we go along...

btw, anybody has updated FFXI ModelViewer Lists?

That's one other way we can prove these gods exist (maybe).

If I took a guess, the models will probably be mobs from Al'Taieu, ATM I think I have an idea on how to pop them, just need some time.

Well, there are no new mob .dats.

And no new armor/weapon .dats except for stars cap, 4 beastmen masks, the flower crown, and the summerfest stuff, all of qich i highly doubt are about this, and if SE did something, doubt it would be so little made like this.

As for the virtue..ect stuf, they said tere's a new npc there, so you probably collect them to et the new items like you did for the obis/gorgets/earrings.

Also, for RoZ, gods weren't introduced till way after final mission was added.

Personally, I hope SE doesn't add gods there untill they make the missions a lot more fair for late comming players
