are you guys sure that Lullaby works on these or am i extremely unlucky? just tried this with

The brd started out with lullabying all 3 eyes, all 3 resisted it. The i voke a compound eye and pull it away from the whm and brd. Brd tries to lullaby again but the 2 eyes resist again, tries for a 3rd time and again, both resist. The brd had +24 chr, mary's horn, and it was lightsday and All 3 lullabys got resisted.

Lullaby works. Sometimes does get resisted, but it works. My BC40 gear gives me around +26 w/ Mary's, so you just got really bad luck or somebody diaga'd.

edit: BTW, I doubt you can kill them with that setup. Unless your NIN can deal 5500 damage in 15 minutes... I don't think nin can put out the damage out to win this one in time.

NIN/WAR- NIN/WHM - BRD/WHM

Easiest.. fucking.. BC.. ever.

How people could wipe to this repeatedly is beyond me. The small eyes are laughable, a single katana swing does 50 damage, totally to about 5% or more of their HP. Strat was NIN/WHM Dias Compound aggros all... NIN/WAR voked same Compound, BRD Elegys Sobbing and runs like hell down the path. I let one Compound beat on me (its so redicuously easy to tank these mobs... I could probably do it blind.) while the NIN/WAR tanks backwards and uses Elemental Ninjutsu. He can melee a lil', just make sure your back is turned to the one beating on you, and that he wont turn into your eye's Hex Eye. NIN/WHM melees SAME mob as NIN/WAR.. compound will die in like... 30sec.

Do the same with the other compound.. only like 100 times easier this time. SAVE TP. At this time BRD should be heading back up the hill, as you kill the second. Just alternate spamming Elemental Ninjutsu and kiting him, tank him occasionally and just make sure ONLY one person gets hit by his AOE. Breakga, Bindga, and Firaga can all add up. KEY TO THIS BC IS ELEMENTAL WHEEL. SPAM IT AND YOU WILL NOT LOSE.

In the end.. we went 0/6 on drops, got an Erase and like 4 Phalanx... which ALL will be worth jack shit in 2-3 days. People are REALLY hitting this BC up hard. I'd suggest using the scrolls for a job, or saving them for later.. do not sell them now. Tilt Belts were 200k, dropped to 30k in one day.

Oh yeah.. and seriously.. the 3rd person can be pretty much any job who can aggro sobbing and run like hell. Preferably any mage. We did it with a BLM/WHM and it was actually even quicker. Any mage... or someone who can cure themself and handle themself in case of a bindga, breakga landing... can be the third member.

Well G'Luck on drop... People before us supposedly were 2/7... sounds like BS.. but meh.

EDIT: BRD used Minuet and March... but seriously I think I would rather take INT etdue.. as all I did was spam Elemen... really anything would work. Oh yeah.. and never used any meds.. but might help if you bring Yagudo/Hi-Pots as the mage will be running around not able to cure you.

So I just did this 3 times with the setup of Nin/Whm, Mnk/Nin, Smn/Whm. I used a modefied strategy from the Nin/Whm, Nin/War, Brd/Whm one. I would enter and Thunderspark the Sobbing Eye, doing up to 200 damage to all three and paralyzing them fairly strongly. I would then release and call carbuncle who would keep the Sobbing Eye busy while the other two killed the Compound Eyes. At the end we would all rush the Sobbing Eye (Tail Whip did up to 300 damage).

The Nin and Mnk would take turns turning from the mob to avoid Hex Eye until the other took hate, and the Nin spend most of his time turned anyway for Elemental Wheel. We very rarely had any real danger other than stupid mistakes on my part leading to me getting bound or petrified, but we suffered no deaths and won all three runs.

Sadly... the drops were caca.

Confirmed on Asura last night i obtained my Peacock Charm from Under Observation.

Our setup was NIN/WAR NIN/WAR RDM/WHM we did it three times the charm dropped on my orb in the last fight. Day of the week was darksday at 83% waning gibbous moon incase you were superstitous.

Oh and WOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTT i got a Peacock Charm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've spent 6 of my own orbs, and so have 2 of my friends who i'm static'd up with to do this. I had almost 6 stacks of seals when we started. We all have about the same amount of seals. Boy, I hope I get my P.Charm before I run outta seals. One of my 2 friends already got theirs on their 2nd orb ><

How weak are the two NQ eyes?

I was thinking of going War/Nin with a Nin/War and a Rdm/Blm
Have the Rdm sleepga (if it's possible at that level) then kite the NM while me and the nin take out one of the eyes then move on to the other.
We won't have much healing power if the rdm is kiting though... so I guess potions and such are a must.

Got any better suggestions with the same setup?

Will not work they are NOT sleepable except by a bard. You wanna win get a rdm/whm and two nin/wars. The nins reverse tank and spam the wheel the rdm kites the main and comes in every now and then to heal.
