Since the patch Fafnir seems to have changed... I was getting a LOT more resists on paralyze (rarely stuck) and other enfeebles, but the most strange part was when he was down to 5% or lower, my Thunder III did 0 damage to him with elemental seal. I'm a 75 RDM and have +4 enfeebling and elemental merit, +2 thunder acc merit. I used elemental seal and equip Jupiter's staff along with other gods gear. Not to mention it was also on thundersday, so I'm hoping for a really nice crittical thunder III, but I hit it for 0 >.> That's the first time i've ever seen a nuke hit him for 0... was just wondering if this happened to anyone else.

I never had any problems... just keep casting. Get rdm jse hat/pants too.

I wear RDM AF2 hat for the elemental skill +10

If I recall correctly like around 5-10% Faf/Nid hit VERY hard, and at times you hit them for very small amounts or even nothing. I recall popping Mighty Strikes on Nidhogg at around 5% and critting for 0's and VERY low #s... I have just about the best gear a WAR can have, and hit him over 100+ with crits during the beginning and middle of the fight.

Basically they have damage immunity at low HPs to drag the extra 5-10% out, because that is mainly the time in which an LS is tested on wether or not they can take an HNM.
That... and well the dreaded 1% mark on the CoP Wyrms. w

You're asking if they are immune to magic at points now, so I'll ask you this... Were you by any chance weakened from dying while you were doing these 0's?

Yes i'm sorry i was not wearing the AF2 hat that GOD i wish i had... I was wearing AF1 hat (+10 ele), AF2 pants (+10 ele), elemental torque, zenith mitts and pumps, 2x snow rings, jupiter's staff, dalmatica (which has no offensive magic bonus ><), and using elemental seal when my thunder III on thundersday did 0... i just found it strange b/c in all my 50+ fights against fafnir and nidhogg i've never seen even one of my teir 1 nukes hit for 0... ah well. Nice kill Tib, very nice

Now that I think about it, I was weakened and that must have been it. Lol.. thanks makes a lot of sense now... the BLM that did an elemental seal burst for 0 was also weakened. damn new update not letting us just pump out exp loss for damage XD.

that's because of the new weakened system. if you are killed while weakened and then raise again, all your nukes will do 0 damage until you are unweakened.
