Today I was chocobo digging in latheine, and I noticed "Fallen Egg" on the floor under a tree, it was like a ??? you find on the ground. This was in I-6

So I touched it, and it said "There is a broken egg on the ground here. Perhaps there is a nest in the boughs of this tree". It dissapeared right after this, and I was targetting everything, I couldnt find it anymore. So I kept checking under all those trees in the area but after a few minutes it popped again, I touched it again, no go.

So I port holla, get on chocobo, and start going around to all the trees, targetting to see if I can find anything, and the fallen egg moved down to the bottom section of la'theine in L-10. I decided to trade a bird egg to it, since the mobs in the area drop bird eggs, nothing happened, I decided to eat the egg & examine the "FallenEgg" & then i got "Obtained: Bird Egg" .

Hmmmm, i'm still looking around La'theine, to see if it keeps moving, but is there anything more to this?

I kept teleport-holla > chocobo > exploring around groups of trees, and I found it one final time at L-7.
This time when I touched it, I got an egg, then the owner came down & attacked.



And it dropped the omgwtfbbq best itam ever!

Ok spent 15,000 on chocos n 2 hrs of looking, but I got it. Heres how it goes.

Pop Time- 5-10 minutes (for Fallenegg)

It pops in 3 sectors:

I-6
L-10
And L-7 (the trees by the La theine zone)

Just click them till you get a egg, the bird MAY pop.

I'm personally impressed by that drop. Someone may pfft it but -1% critical also costs 1 merit point - end game.

Pretty nice for a lvl 14 item.
