Has anybody found this NM yet? Mystery Tour has it listed as a new NM in Carpenter's Landing, but no info about the actual NM yet. I am interested in the Black Hose that it supposedly drops (+1 str and +1 enmity) as a piece of armor for my drk.

Wow, this guy is fun. D: I havent been able to pop him yet, but here's what you need to do.. First you need Honey. I'd get a stack of it just to be safe. Then, once again, head Carpenter's Landing, Jugner entrance, like you heading to Orcrap. Once you're out of the tunnels, there will be a giant rock in front of you, with trees around it. At night (I think 18:00) ???s will appear on three of the trees, trade 1 jar of honey to a tre, or all of the trees. I dont know if either situtation ruins your chances any more than the other.. Anyway, you MUST trade the honey before 4:00. After 4:00 you can start checking you honey to see if you "caught" the beetle. So far, I've had 2/2 unsuccessful pops, the first time trying 1 tree, the second time trying all 3 trees. I tried checking at different hours (4, 5, 6, they disappear at 7) and still no beetle. I'll try again with this guy later on, I think now I'm going to try that new Orc in Jugner.

Yes it does drop the black slacks I was messing around and poped it with the honey last night and droped them.

After 22:00 three ???'s will appear on surrounding trees trade honey to them. at 4:00 examine them all again, usualy the message "You did not catch anthing" will come up but if you're lucky Hercules Beetle will pop.

Drops: Black Hose (Lv. 29 DRK 16 Def Str+1 Emnity+1 rare)

I think the pants aren't really that great. When you have stuff like the Republic Subligar and Republic cuisses available, which have the added benefit of not having +enmity. DRK JA already draw ridiculous amounts of hate.

Come to think of it, theyre worth good gil. Theyrte only rare, so they can be AH'd. On Midgardsormr they sell for 100,000 (why ANYONE would pay this is beyond me) but I got him today, he dropped so I put mine on AH.

Some WHM was camping him when i was there. Ever have it when your chilling with your NPC n killing eles n the campers r breathing down your neck. Then you get that tell "What are you doing?"

Man, she didn't know of Hercules so i kept my mouth shut.
