I want to completely remove the s from the game. They annoy me to death. Can anyone please tell me what files i have to replace/remove?

You can goto FFXI config on the strart menu -> PlayOnline -> Final Fantasy XI and you can disable all sound. Thats the only way I know of.

Go the the playonline folder and click sound....then se000, then highlight se000017-se000022 and move them to a new folder or possibly delete them. According to a ffxi utility program these are all the calls in the game. I can't promise this is safe. I just did what the above poster did.

i just tried this.

it disables all the calls before which is good cause those were the annoying ones. thank god i dont ever have to hear them again.
