I'm not sure if anybody has already posted on this NM, so I'l go ahead and put my dirt on it.
Earlier today my LS went to fight this NM, in Attohwa Chasm (F-10). Its a force popped NM that drops Rostrum Pumps, using an Antlion Trap on the ??? at the bottom of the pit. We didn't know exactly what to expect, so we brought an alliance of 18 down to fight him.
When traded, a NM called "Feeler Antlion" will spawn. The idea is to NOT kill him until he spawns Alastor Antlion, the NM that actually drops the boots. When you bring Feeler Antlion down to around 30%, he will spawn an Executioner Antlion, then the NM Alastor Antlion.
Both of these NM's use normal Antlion TP attacks, but Alastor also uses magic. Alastor spams Breakga, StonegaIII, Quake, and StoneIV. He cannot be stunned, or slept. His melee attacks will randomly induce Petrify, so war/nin or NIN is reccomended if you decide to fight straight up or even marathon it. He is weak to Ice, so many BLM is reccomended.
The Executioner Antlion resisted sleep for us, but can be easily taken down by a team of BLM / RDM.
soon as i figure out how to post pics of the fight I will lol

My LS did 15 of these battles last night. Pumps are 100% drop. He will summon Alastor randomly. It is a lotto with the Executioner basically. We had a bunch where Alastor spawned first time, and others which took 10+ Executioner pops before Alastor finally came out.
If you don't kill executioners fast enough, you may find you and your alliance with your hands full. There was one pop where we ended up with 5 Executioners up, Alastor popped, and other normal antlions in the area linking. That was not fun. ^^;

We had 2 there. But with 5 executioners, feeler, alastor, and 3-5 regular pops, the killing goes slower.

You don't have to bring the Feeler Antlion to ~30% for it to summon, Feeler Antlion will summon an Executioner Antlion or Alastor Antlion everytime it uses Sandpit. It's exactly like Steam Cleaner, Feeler Antlion = Detector, Executioner Antlion = Caretaker, Alastor Antlion = Steam Cleaner.
So basically just bring 2 tanks, one tank just provoke Feeler Antlion and tank it till it summons Alastor Antlion, Have a back up tank provoke Executioner Antlions as they spawn, and when Alastor pops, kill Feeler Antlion ASAP, Feeler Antlion doesn't have much HP but he has an incredible Regen. Executioner Antlions can be taken out pretty fast if you have enough damage dealers.
Alastor Antlion has Additional Effect: Petrification so you need whms for Stona, it also uses Breakga, Stone 4, Stonega 3 and Quake. Alastor Antlion cannot be stuned/enfeebled. It hits quite fast and with alot of Double Attacks, for around ~250 on a Taru NIN75. Pumps are 100% drop. Try to get some beastmasters to control adds, but Antlions around ??? are pretty easy to take out anyway.
Hope this helps.

If it's a TP move and you want it to spawn quickly, you could try bringing a bunch of Kraken-wielders
Though with some bad luck, this could mean a dozen executers in 7 minutes << >>

You need 2 H.Q Antlion jaws that drop off Cave Antlions and Trench Antlions, drop rate is pretty good and the mobs con T at 75 I think. I don't remember what are the other items needed to synth the Antlion Trap, but you need to get a high level Boneworker to craft it.

we did it 17 bst 1 rdm for kiting. it goes pretty easy if you just kite the feeler around killing off executioners until alaster pops then just pwn him real quick and then the other mobs despawn. easy after you get alastor spawned
