We get throwing skill.........and it also has +8 Magic Accuracy...definitly a mage item.

Mages have throwing items already. Just not returning ones.

RDMs can use darts, WHM can use pebbles, we can all use Tathlums, etc.

Aureole is something that everyone doing item scans came up with. It's a very nice item, and about time SE put in something that you don't lose if you accidentally hit your ranged attack macro.

Very few jobs have Throwing skill worth using for damage, though it'll be nice to be able to skill up with one of these.

Why do people keep acting like they're actually going to throw this item. Is my sarcasm sense not working correctly or something? You just put it in the slot and get Magic Accuracy +8, you don't actually throw it.

I have a feeling, now that other jobs can experiment with magic accuracy, it's gonna help a whole lot more. It's gonna help bards songs land on hard to land mobs, helps with blms resistance rate, rdm enfeebles, etc etc. I wasnt too sure on this, till the other day when I actually read my elemental seal wording, it says that Ele seal helps with the accuracy of the next spell. I guess magic accuracy is alot like having permanent elemental seal up. I'd love that, bards/blm/nin/rdm would all love that too i'm sure

I agree after throwing my happy egg as well as morion along time ago. Its a decent piece of equipment, gives a nice stat as well as it comes back to you. I WANT IT!

P.S. its not rare or ex, i wonder if its possibly a synth?

If it was a synth, i'm sure it would have been found by now, since alot of crafters have been spamming guild bitches for recepies. You never know though, it could be like drk JSE kunwu ore, virtually non existant

How did square 'fuck up' by giving a returnable throwing item to mages, or to any job that didn't have one before? Don't think you're gonna get anyone to join your cry party over this.

And... My LS has had a WHM throw and successfully land Arctic Wind on Suzaku <.< So, mage with leveled throwing has it's uses...

lol leave it to square to give mages a throwing item that only needs an extremly rare ore to make lol.......then again who knows.....but they do like to play with my emotions....look at weskit feet...there are only 2 known on my server.
