Okay, so this is to all who regularly camp NM's. Since the update, is the drop rate any higher? And do you find it easier to get the Rare/Ex or the normal drop? Sorry if this is a noobish question.

Drop rates on things change from time to time and they dont usually make those announcements. You would have to be more specific on which NM's drops you're referring to. I am not aware, nor have I ever seen proof or the effect, of them making all Rare/EX drops more frequent.

One item I am familiar with the drop rate changing on, and it's Rare/EX, is Giant Fish Bones off Tonberry Stalkers. This item is one of the items you must trade to Opo-Opos for the Opo-Opo Crown quest. The drop rate used to be soooo painful but now the drop rate is more like 1 drop in 4 kills or so.

Be more specific of which drop you are referring to, and maybe someone who has had experience with that NM post-patch can tell you if it's Rare/EX item has dropped more frequently for them.
