I found a ??? in Ordelle's the other day while helping someone with RSE, was at (G-8 ) after the drop off near the Goliath Beetles. Clicking it gives a message about a foul beast's tracks.

Found it on Darksday at 2:28, Waxing crescent Moon (7%), wind weather. Weather changed, the ??? didn't despawn.

Killed a few mobs and came back towards the end of Darksday; ??? despawned just as the clock hit 0:00 on Fireday.

That's all I can provide about the one I found~

It's definately not popped like the aroma fly. If you enter gusgen and take the left door at the first set of doors, it's all the way down near the bottom. Just keep left. Just before that last large room is a smaller area with a little wooden shed and a bomb spawn. The ??? spawns there pretty often sometimes (20 min apart), and other times it just wont appear. Clicking it spawns the Aroma Fly. I cant remember if I got any exp at 55, but it was an easy fight. 1 blood pact and it was dead. Got some rare/ex throwing item with +1 str and +1 int.

Anyways, I noticed ppl referring to the fly like they may be related. The fly pops without trading anything, so if thats another Aroma mob spawn point you found, it's definately something unique.

You serious? Only new item that fits that description is dropped from Fomor NMs in the Sacrarium.
I wish they dropped something new =(

Hmmm....well since it is aroma perhaps you have to follow a series of ???'s as in testing you scent or something iunno (could happen tho :/)

My suggestion is that these NM are RSE related. Notice Aroma Fly seems to drop a RSE throwing item, and the 3 area that pop ??? is also the area that RSE take place.

My prediction is that ??? will only pop if given week of race and area combination match, for example hume male week in Ordelles Caves or taru male week in Gusgen Mines. And if you are the right race for that given week, by clicking on the ??? the NM will pop.

I'm not so sure about the Sacrarium NMs dropping the rse throwing items, I have yet to see a picture of one dropping anywhere. My LS has killed 7 of the Fomor Codex nms so far, with 4 belts, and 0 throwing items.. maybe just bad luck, but im beginning to think they are not dropped from these.

I'm testing the theory of it being RSE excxlusive. Tommorow is Hume Male day in Ordelle caves. i'll be sure to drop a visit.

Well, since i have nothing better to do ATM, I'm going to check what RSE week it is and head to that area, see what I can pick up.

or maybe your week but no same place as gob indicates...
