This may seem like a stupid question...but it's been bugging me for a long, long while...

Which filter do I leave on to SEE my NPCs damage? It's surely not the ones clearly marked with NPCs for some odd reason...and on top of that the only way I can see my NPCs dmage is if I turn off all filters all together....kinda annoying. =/ Anyone have any clue how to get this resolved?

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble accepting Mirror Images (it's complete in my quest log).

I've already completed Blessed Radiance. When I talk to Luto, she just says:

" says that the power fo the mirror is still unstable."

When I ask my NPC at the rendevous point about quests, she says:

"We shall begin our search for Palometa as soon as the mirror is stable..."

My NPC is lvl 60, and I can't get g3 until I get this damn BC accepted and beaten. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I have the same exact problem .... I think we might have to call NPC a few more times after completing Blessed Radiance.
Like there is a certain number of times you have to call it (with pearls or at R. Point) to flag both the 65 cap quest (Mixed Signals) and Mirror Images.
This is all I could think of because nothing else will get Ratoto or Luto to flag either quest. (Like Blessed Radiance sort of increase the Bond cap, now we must actually call it some to get those more bond to "put the mirror together")
See what I'm saying? So im gonna call mine a bit more and maybe get to lvl 60.99999 before i can actually flag it lol. -.-

I can confirm your problems. I had my NPC at the same point, almost 61, but still capped at 60 with the other quests done,
and not enough bond level for genkai 3. I sort of ignored it for a while, but eventually had to just get tactics pearl and call her
like crazy until I had enough bond level to get the quest. Talking to your NPC at the rendezvous point once per day (people say once per
vana day, the wiki site says once per real day, who knows) gives you 1 point. If you have the mirror images quest finished, then you're at most
like 20 points behind (I think I was around there...), so just keep calling your NPC til Ratoto gives you the quest. On that note, you DID realize that
Luto doesn't start genkai 3, right?

Late reply, but I think the one I usually unfilter is "Damage taken by enemies/foes" and the damage shows up.

I have a problem with 55 uncap quest Regaining Trust. I talked to Luto > Monberaux > Luto. Supposedly I can now go to the Giant Footprint and pop the NM, but I went and got nothing. Is there something particular I have to do such as call my npc? I didn't see any text leading me to Qufim at all and it says at wiki.ffxiclopedia I should know my fellow went there. T_T

Two things to be aware of for the Regaining Trust quest:

1. If you are past CH5 in CoP you will need to speak to Monberaux twice (I had to zone after the 1st time) to trigger the quest as he keeps talking about Wolfgang.

2. AF bond needs to be 55 minimum.

I am trying to do my NPC's g1. I completed past reflections. I can't get the flag for Blighted Gloom. I go talk to deiderik or whatever his damn name is, and all's he says is he's waiting for a painting from angelica.
The only thing my NPC says to me regarding quests is she's been asked to investigate some shadow something.
I take her to promy-dem. we go in, i go to RP and call her, says we have 45 minutes to complete. We kill a few mobs and then get slaughtered. I *think* i touched the ??? at k-12 before we died.
but still i can't flag her g-1 =/ what am i overlooking? or is our bond just not high enough?
how do you make your bond higher? I talk to her everyday at the RP and call her out to fight everyday.

Did you complete the Angelica quest in Windurst Waters? or did you have your signal pearl equipped when you talked to Diedrik?
Promy-Holla escort is the easiest of the three so I'd suggest you do that one. That might be holding back the G1 too.
You should have enough bond to get the G1 if you can do the Empty quest already. There's just something stupid blocking it. Many people have had problems getting that quest.

yeap, i talked to deiderik with pearl equipped, yeap i complete the promy quest thing, yeap i talk to my NPC everyday. she says she's getting ready to level soon. Nope, still no g-1 flag =/

I'm aware that locking in a shade tiara or any other head armor for my Adventuring Fellow NPC doesn't give any more stats than having nothing equiped.

Well, I was just wondering if the other armor pieces have any effect on my NPC's stats,def,etc???

Basically wanting to know if i should lock in my NPC's higher level gear as it becomes available?

Or are they all just for looks like the Head armor is?

im very new here but i have a situation i dont believe i ever read or heard bout anywhere else... i have finished the story and genki's and never threw away the signal pearl.. only the tatics pearl. NPC is lvl 60 and on the 6th weapons upgrade.. now heres the strange part.. she has been summond to me for the past 2 months naked..lol no gear except the hat i gave her... i tried asking GM's but we all know how well they can help us =( So i am posting here to see if maybe someone might be able to know what happened ....

Summary: Diederik has lost a painting ordered by a valued customer. He wants you to help him earn time or get a new painting before anyone notices.
Prerequisities: Enough NPC Bond.

You DON'T have to complete Promyvion quest, you have to complete "A Pose By Any Other Name" (Angelica, Windurst Waters, 2nd Floor of Rarab's Tail).

You have to have your Signal Pearl with you!!!! (equipped)

1. Talk to Diederik in Selbina (near the shore, not far away from the subjob NPC)
2. Choose to either go to Bastok (Umberto) or to Windurst (Angelica) - you NPC will always take another city.
a) Bastok Markets - Umberto (left of the Harmodios's Music)
Windurst Waters - Angelica (2nd Floor of Rarab's Tail)

3. After talking to Umberto - grab a "Pickaxe" (Boytz in Bastok Mines sells them) and go to Korroloka Tunnel and find an "Excavation Point". Use your Pickaxe to dig up the "Bal Shell". Give it to Umberto.

4. Go back to Selbina and talk to Diederik.

5. Go to Castle Oztroja, through Brass Door @ I-8 (levers) go up to I-9 and head east to courtyard. Proceed east until you get to Brass Door (I-8). Click it for CS, click it again to enter. Examine ??? to fight Yagudo Muralist (~50-52lvl, BLM type). Defeat it and talk to your NPC. Examine ??? again to get a key item (Opalescent Stone).

6. Go to Angelica (Windurst Waters) and talk to her

7. Go back to Umberto (Bastok Markets) and talk to him

Your NPC is now able to reach lvl55, congratulations!

Summary: Luto has asked you to locate a special metal that can be used to repair the broken mirror. According to her research, this substance can only be found inside an extremely rare species of slime.
Prerequisities: Enough NPC bond

1. Talk to Luto after you have enough NPC relationship (possible when there's a new option for headgear)
2. Luto will send you to 1 of 3 possible destinations:
- Ordelle's Caves
- Ranguemont Pass
- Korroloka Tunnel

Ordelle's Caves
Zone into Ordelle's caves from F-7 entrance in La Theine Plateau. Head south to the Path that ends at G-4 on the first map. Then head to I-5 on the 2nd map to find a ??? point.

Korroloka Tunnel
??? found at F-9/10 on the second map - this is the map that contains the tunnel full of Bogy mobs that leads to the NIN quest leeches.

Ranguemont Pass
The ??? is located at (I-9) on top of a small rock.

3. Click it to spawn the slime NM. Your NPC will appear to fight with you just like in the first limit quest. Very easy fight. NPC hit it for 71 damage when it spawned and that took away 9% of its health, so only has around 750-850 HP. Can be killed with 1 tier IV spell

4. Talk to your npc, then check the ??? point again to receive the key item "Vitrallum".

5. Return to Upper Jeuno for a cutscene with Luto.

6. Head to King Ranperre's Tomb and zone out into Jugner Forest. Head east for a little bit until you find a ???. Click it for a cutscene.
Congratulations! Bonds between you and your NPC strengthen! After that - you can choose another headgear for your NPC at Rendezvous Point.

bond is from calling them ad talig to them, i neverhaday probelms doig the quests because i called her a lot.

only time i had probelm was when they made an update that raised the cap friendship and i just assume i had it already.they have a cap, i new update comes and you have to meet the new cap.

Did you complete the Angelica quest in Windurst Waters? or did you have your signal pearl equipped when you talked to Diedrik?

Dem is, holla killed my npc from the poion they do. took her 1/2 hp to dead while i was resting with stoneskin on, rr wait thats mea holla eats buffs..
