Dem is the easyest in my experiance. I usually go RNG/NIN and have my NPC go as Fierce attacker to get through mobs fast.

Someone clued me in on this trick, not sure if it's been mentioned, but you can camp the Memory Receptacle for easy kills. Just piss it off and stay in aggro range, it should spit out an endless train of strays. When you're done just get away from it and it should revert to white letters and the strays (save for the one it spits out just as you leave) should return to bumbling about it. Also learned there's a cap on how many monsters you kill that count towards the end experience, 30 kills if I recall.

Okay, something's seriously wrong with the NPCs since one of the recent patches. I've been trying to get mine into a Seer's Tunic for a while now and have been encountering the strangest thing. Every time I've summoned my NPC in a Windurst held region she's cycled through non-Windurst equipment lists. Right now, after having summoned her repeatedly in West Sarutabaruta, she's gone from a Lizard Jerkin to a Doublet then back to a Lizard Jerkin again and now Chainmail... all in West Sarutabaruta which, barring major effort on another nation's part which is not the case right now, is always under Windurst. This is starting to tick me off as Seer's is the one body armor I'd like to lock. I've already sent a bug report to Square but no reply yet outside the automated response.

My npc hit level 65 tonight. Is 65 the level cap still for NPC's? if so it's a kind of a sad day and a bit of a letdown that nothing special happens when you reach the cap. I'm hoping there are plans to extend the cap ~ has anyone got any info? many thanks.

Yes, 65 is the cap. And the special thing happens after the quest Mirror Images as, I believe, that's when you get their job ability Blessed Radiance. I want that ability but my NPC is only level 35-36 (and yet already I've got Mirror Images started, amazing how quickly bond builds up). It's so trying to level my NPC when I don't want to level my own job beyond what it is.

have you took note of the mobs you fought? it plays a part i was in sand trying to get o kote for ripokeke's hands. i disisded to kill gobs for masks in the process. she took the beasman track. i later found out killing gobs will do that. then i stated to kill orcs in sany and get the result i wanted.

Blessed Radiance is cool if you can get your npc to do it lol. They normally have to be close to death and even then they sometimes either dont have time or just decide not to do it. When it does happen though it looks kinda like what you'd imagine Holy 2 to look like. My Nanako ended up using it the other day on a Doom Soldier in Gustav Tunnel. It did a solid 548 damage which was awesome lol.

My Npc is lvl 65 I have found in my personnal experiences that npcs usually use Blessed Radiance when you and your npc are in Critical red Hp. Also to change your npcs armor looks you not only have to summon them into region under the path of armor you want to go down but you your chances of going down the path you want are increased by the type of crystals the monsters drop. Fire sandoria, Wind Windurst, Water Bastok, and for beastmen I killed types that drop different crystals. Also you must kill until your npc de-summons then call your npc and she should be in different armor. But this is not fool-proof sometimes you go down a lvl in armor along your desired path. Currently I have gone down the beastmen path and locked my npc with a Scorpian Harness and Zodiac Subligar. Sorry for the long post lol

I have reached the level 50 of my Npc, done past reflection, blighted Gloom, blessed radiance, mirror images, chamalion chapers (i think all for now), I spoken also in windy with Angelica, but she not give me the quest: "A Pose by Any Other Name" and also in selbina nothing happened.
Somebody Can help me?

I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem im having. I cant seem to get G2 done. I have the quest in my log, Ive completed all bond quests including Blessed Radiance. My NPC is lvl 52, when i go to talk to Moneraux he just blabs about wolfgang. It wont let me finish the quest. Its really frustrating...

Will the NPC bond rise every time I use the Tactics Pearl? Or does it only rise when I use the Signal Pearl? Thanks in advance.

Regarding the last two questions.
1) It doesn't matter if you use a signal or a tactics, enmity gain is the same
2) My npc (hume female) tends to be decently chatty. She hasn't given me a comment about liking to be quiet or anything like that.
