What Kimera recommends works well. Of course, all you need to do is cut one single frame, right click on it and go to Speed, and set a length of one second. That is alot easier then pasting the frame in 24 or 30 times. Its also easier to manage if you need to apply effects, ect.

I've got a little problem with frame rates O.o
I've tried to record a ballista match with a 30 frame rate: some parts of the video show extremely accelerated, some scenes are at normal speed insted.
What did I do wrong? O.o;

Regenshire, or anyone who is a pro w/ Adobe Premiere, my problem now is all of the vids I make are boxed. I know it's something to do w/ the inital settings but I can't figure out what settings I need so the video occupies the whole screen.

Not an expert with Premiere but from what I can tell the video is being encoded in 4:3 format, which is for PAL territories. You probably have a widescreen TV so you need to adjust it so that it shows 16:9(widescreen format) which is for NTSC territories.
Now I also have a question and I didn't wanna start a new thread for it but I most likely will coz I doubt many people look this far back in such an old thread....
How do you record ingame footage of cutscenes without the log window or user interface showing in them? I've seen vids without it so I know it's possible but apparently it won't work by just "hiding" the UI..

I don't think you can, the way that most vids have the text boxes hidden is to have the resolution really high so the text box takes up a very small amount of space, then you render the video at a smaller frame rate than the original.
So say the recorded CS is 800 x 600 you could render it at say, 740 x 520? Or something, whatever works, and you should have the two black strips giving it a widescreen effect but I can't say for sure! That just seems like the logical thing to me, I don't record CS and if I do say for my ZM17 mission video I just have the boxes there anyway.

Sorry Imperial, didn't see this till just now.
You need to change the Pixel Aspect ratio to "Square Pixels 1.0". Now, one thing to note, there is no way within the interface (that I am aware of) to change this setitng once you have created the video.
However, I have a manual workaround for you that I have used.
1) Right down the Pixel Aspect Ratio (or whatever you are trying to change such as Frame size)
2) Locate the project file (.prproj) and make a backup of it (in case you mess up the file)
3) Right click on the file and select Open With. Open it with Notepad or another text editor that you prefer.
4) Use the search function to find PixelAspectRatio
5) This will take you to a line that will look like "
6) Use the replace function to replace "
7) Replace all instances of it in the document and save it
8) Open the project in premier

I got a question but it's for those that use sony vegas. I'm trying to pan an image or a video over another image. An example I'll use is in powerpoint where you tell the text to fly in from the right or left. I read the tutorial in vegas but it is not exactly the clearest instructions in the world so I'm kinda stumped. I noticed in a few posts above that some of the features in Premiere are similar so I figured all the preimere pros could give me insight how to do it on there and maybe I could translate it over to vegas.

I seem to be missing the codecs for fraps videos to work (had them a while ago o_O) anyone know what they are and where to get them from? I have K-lite codec pack installed, DivX and XviD aswell (of course).

No I don't but I reinstalled fraps and it works now, silly me hehe ^^;
Windows Movie Maker 2.0 keeps crashing on me when I try to add titles (their forums are useless) so I'm forced to try and use Adobe Premiere :/

This is for people who use Adobe Premiere:
I made a small movie with it but the filesize is too large
should I compress the raw fraps videos before using in Premiere or is there some settings that I've overlooked to compress it down more?
