How to change/find Certain .dat files

Ok, been wanting to change the Leather Armor (level 7) to the lv 44 samurai armor, such as the Haidate, hara-ate, ect.

Does anyone know how I would find these, i knwo how to replace them from the moogle changes i tested, but could anyone explain how to get the armor ones?

Been looking for a bit so i am desprete enough to post

get the model viewer its the best source to figure out what files to swap

ok, i have a modle viewer, but how can I use it to find the files, that is what confuses me

Look at the rom path in the upper left corner. make backup, Then copy the armor you want and rename it to the number of the armor to be changed.
