So Cliff mentioned he was having second thoughts on the plugin options on his windower, simply because the plugin option was very powerful and allowed other users to make some shady plugins.
This post is not asking for those.
What I am asking for is simply what are you up too, if you're making them? I saw the beta version of Windower 3.2, and apparently it had a "Shadow" counter on it, along with several onscreen timers. Looked nifty.
Anything like that brewing?

I'm not sure if the shadow counter is posible... there was a post about this on the archbell.com forums saying they think it's serverside an the only way to do it would be to crack log's...
I have no idea how the plugins are made or anything, so I'm not 100% sure on any of it... but yeah, that's what was posted on archbell.com

Well, you could make a ghetto Shadow Counter, really.. Instead of just reading how many shadows you have up, it could sit in your memory as a counter. Everytime you cast Ichi, the counter goes up to 3. Everytime you cast Ni, it goes up to 5. Everytime a monster hits you and subtracts a shadow, it goes down -1. There has to be some sort of signal for all these events, as it shows up in my chat log.
Japanese Input Tool has been released? Really?! Link me! =)
Edit: Snap. I was browsing around and just saw the FFXI post =P

Utsusemi counter/timer (password: 1122181782) [The post with the utsusemi counter (found on the new FFAssist JP boards)]
Not sure how this works though, but it's worth a shot.

Utsusemi: Ni only gives 4 shadows. I thought it was 5 also for the longest time but when I first got NIN to 37 and noticed I was missing 1 shadow for some reason I actually tested it and its 4 shadows
. But yeah they already have an Utsusemi counter for the FFXIAssist thing and all it does is read your log for when you cast Utsusemi and tells you when your shadows go away. It just seperates those specific words from the log so its easier to read, nothing more.

No, this is a sepearte program from what I read. Not the FFAssist thing. It's by the same maker of FFAssist, and that is why it's on the forums. It gives you a timer for utsu's and the number of shadows on atm, or so I read.

Oh that one. I tried to install that one but it said I was missing a file that was clearly in the same folder as it......so yeah I deleted it :x
Anyway I can keep track of my own shadows cause I keep filter out most chat that isnt about what my character is doing.

I downloaded both FFAssist and archbell's windower. Is there a way to make the on screen map from FFAssist to work with archbell's?
