when 100+6 woodworking, you will try to do hq staves, and those are expensive (and on my server the pricing is starting to even out, and become "break even" even with hq) - test then, cuz thats gonna be a synth you will prolly do often :love

at that point, you have 2 options, tell the world the star chart, or tell them something better if you found something better - something tahts hq after hq...

or, keep taht to yourself

honestly, i think making this a sticky is misinformation - its general information, making it a sticky would make more ppl believe in it (however they might, as i do perhaps...)... just cuz its stickied...

OK. Here's my remake of the crafting charts that are around the web and KI. I was bored at work one day so i thought it would be fun to make it. While I'm not 100% convinced that the direction theory is true (I've face all kinds of directions and have always gotten random results from all of them) it never hurts to try it out. I tried to make it easier to read for some of the newer crafters like myself. Some of the charts out there, while really cool like Megatron's, are a bit hard to figure out if you don't quite understand the whole crafting direction theory. Hopefully I've created something that can be used by both the pros and the greenhorns.

To the pros: please let me know if there are any mistakes in this. I want to make this a good chart for everyone

Maybe day and time of day, but moon makes a difference... with 100 leather, did you not notice a significant drop in skill ups when you were at low moon after 70+...? I sure as hell did -.-

38 Tier 1 crafts NQ, then I face NW out of randomness and fun, and get HQ. Screw directions. XD

Moon doesn't affect anything but fishing, I got near perfect skill ups from 90 to 100 on all moon phases, even new moon.

To be sure true or not true, someone should test this? Since i am only 50 goldsmith I dont' really have much to test :/ Maybe you lv100 crafter should do this? It'll have to be same moon, and same day, but 2 different direction... time of day I don't believe it matters. Keep in mind, to have the msot accurate test, law of large numbers must be followed... in another word, do A LOT of synths... if you want to convince one side...

I agree with the directions... i was crafting scorp shells from 53-60 bonecraft, and i had went through 200 shells by the time i was 56 BC. I was crafting on iceday and still rarely got synths. I started turning directions for 10 synths or so and i eventually found that i got a ton more skill ups by facing east. Whcih later i found was the direction for ice. Coincidence i guess.
