I have a ps2. I want to assign a static IP to it. I tried to input my DNS and other info manually, but when I try to connect, it wont, and I check network connections, then it says DNS 1+2 not set. Any suggestions?

DNS is for your internet. Now before i can try and help you are you connecting your PS2 to a router or straight from the modem it's self?

I have DSL service, which runs through my linksys WRT54G router, and I have my ps2 and laptop connected to the router.

ok DNS won't help you. Look for DHCP Server. That automaticaly assigns IPs to all your sources. See if that works.
