Ok, got this guy to pop 3 times in 2hours and 30 minutes, had to kite it untill i had a friend come and kill it for me. Lv 46brd camping to get pop, then i normally have friend (57rdm) help me kill it for the sword. I am still 0/3 on this guy, and was wounderign a few things...


Frist, does colin have an Immune to Sleep ability? I was usign Marys Horn, +31CHR, and sleep was resisted every time, yet i can sleep the jammer leechs with ease. Anyone know?

And also, for other peopel who got the Nadrz drop, what was your luck? Both kills was with TH1, not sure if it helps though with rare/ex items.

anyone whos camped this guy and had details i'd love, no one else has info on the sleep rate, or drop ratio

i went 1/6 on him, was being stingy. Sleep rate? I dunno, I killed him as a 58 ninja at the time.

I read somewhere that he will drop only when every hit that lands has the additional effect poison on it. SOOO you will know ahead of time if its going to drop (this is not a first person account). I do believe the same holds true for the boreas cesti nm now also.

well if thats true, then maybe you could kite him and nuke him, never let him hit you or anyone else(blm/rdm, rdm/blm, rng/rdm?)

its not an "if he hits you and it doesn't go off it doesn't drop" its an if on every hit it goes off he is going to drop. see the difference?

hmmmmm.... no i see a difference but it doesnt make sense.

Its just something you can use as an indicator that it is going to drop, not something you can work around or with to actually make it drop, thats all.

1/4 as WHM/THF a few months ago. i was in the 60s but forget the level. it was fun camping one of my first nms at the time and not worrying about competition. i don't remember anything special about the 4th fight that finally dropped it. good luck!

I've hunted and obtained the sword only because its rare/ex... and tossed it into my storage along with other misc. rare/ex weapons...
