i'm thinking i have to XP a cutie mithra nin, or just not merit enmity-

I will ask
the stupid question.
Under the "Other" catagory, you have the option to "Increase Emnity" or "Decrease
Emnity". You illustrate that once you spend the points for "Decrease Emnity" and max it out the text becomes blue
to denote that. My question is this:
Why doesn't the "Increase Emnity" catagory get changed to red
(meaning it can't be upgraded), the instant you raise "Decrease Emnity". Afterall, unless the system in some way
differentiates between which jobs would benefit from either emnity (+) or emnity (-) they would ultimately cancel
one another out.

question,
when you increase job specific abilities, like whm's regen hp+, when you get, say, warrior up to lvl 75, can i
start putting in points to double attack+1%, or no? and would the whms regen hp+ go away if i changed back to
whm?

I
belive that the Job Specific Merits stay with your Char when you are on that job. When you switch, its still
there, just not active.
And no reason why it doesnt change to red. But thats more of a Cosmetic Change than
anything.

Probably or I would be organising people to complain
about it
thats almost forcing you to start a new character to have more then 1 job at 75

So is
that correct then,
Say me as a bard, start meriting -emnity
Would it be damn near impossible for me to
level nin as well due to me having -emnity or does the -emnity trait "turn off" when I'm no longer using a job
that would benifit from say -emnity

Ill
requote it
Enmity + and - is not Job specific. So yes, your NIN is screwed.

Amberr,
Koryuu,
You get a max of 5 job specific merits on each level 75 job. Each time a job reaches 75, you are
at 0/5 for job specific merits, on that new job. The general merits (attributes, combat skills, hp mp, magic
skills, others) are applied to every job, and once u reach cap on one job they stay capped for all
jobs.
Koryuu
You are given the option to decrease merits, howeever you are NOT reimbursed for those
merits, so choose wisely

Is it
possible to focus all 12 combat skill merits in weapons? Or is the limit 8 total for *all* weapons?

Eight is
the limit for all the weapon skills. The other four are for the "boxing" skills.

Howdy Ire.
Anyway, If BRD can equip the Sapara of Trials, and can get enough
skill with merits and that earring, i dont see why not.
But!
●Sapara of Trials 71 38 236
WAR/RDM/PLD/DRK
Latent Effect : HP+20 [FIR]+10 [WND]+10
BRD cannot equip, and thus, cannot use Savage
Blade

Falcon-
Question for you. What if the brd has war, rdm, pld, drk high enough to equip the sapara and learn savage blade. If
they learn it on another job and wear appropriate gear on brd, would brd have access to it? (Would it depend on
what the brd subbed?)

(Falconblade)
Example: At level 75, a summoner's club cap is 225. If they used 3 merits into club, they
would have 231 skill and be elible to obtain Black Halo (note the importance that SMN is able to equip the Club
of Trials). I'm basing this example on Somepage.com's skill caps for Summoner at level 75. If it is
incorrect, then just pretend it is true for the purposes of an example.

BRD NEEDS to be able to
equip the Trials weapon.
