Ok I have FFXI for both PC and PS2... Being both are in use most the time, I would like to also be able to use fraps to record the PS2...

The only answer I could come up with was getting video in on my laptop. This way I could connect my PS2 Audio and Video into my laptop then get it to come up on screen. From there I can use fraps...

But my issue is: Does anyone know of a piece of hardware I could pick up to do this?

lol I'm not sure... I doubt it. That ROM would be BIG... I was thinking. I just want to record some cut scenes... Maybe I could get a DVR... Anyone know one maybe?

i know how to get from laptop to a tv screen but not other way round

You'd have to buy a "TV Tuner Card" which are hard to come by for macs, but I found a few for PC. Click here for a few of the USB TV Tuner cards from Buy.com.

I'm not sure about modern TV Tuner cards, but the one I had (STB, if that tells you how old) would not allow me to capture off it, it came off as a big blue block. But there also wasn't FRAPS or anything of the sort back then.

Buy a TV card from Hauppauge or Pinnacle to let you use TV in.
