Just to share...

I upgraded from a Cele to a P4 3.0HT. Windower ceased to work at this point, froze at the POL screen. I killed the HT in the BIOS and that cured it. I'm not saying it's the HT, just this model processor with HT that seems to not work with Windower.

Hm... I kinda have a similar problem. I this just recently started happening randomly. I would start up POL with or without windower and my computer would almost freeze completly; I have to slowly bring up task manager and kill pol.exe manually to even get a working environment.
