for the spirit issue... i have heard that spirits are not for the beginning summoner... that they cast lots and good ancients magics after lvl 60.. something to look forward to..

Guys and Gals, you're assuming that Bahamut will be LARGER than other avatars like previously FF. Have you ever wonder that they MAY REDUCE the size of Bahamut, something entire DIFFERENT look Bahamut. I recall FF4 Bahamut wasn't huge.

Bahamut is likely to be coming out cuz Bahamut has and have always been tradition part of Final Fantasy series so I am looking forward to see Bahamut.

If that is not the case, we could always recommend idea to Square-Enix because this is ONLINE GAME, meaning that they will update it frequently so anything is possible.

Lastly, we need try not to forget that there is one extra elemental >> NON-ELEMENTAL. Bahamut fit this PERFECTLY.

Well you ask me i think Fenrir is next. Because of 1 thing..../ma Fenrir . Why would they skip over Fenrir to release a different summon. I bet Fenrir can be found in limbo when its released. After some time when they open up new limbo areas i can seen Bahamut or other summons comming out.

This is what I've heard, and it's pretty reliable. They're adding Fenrir and *drumroll* this game's version of Odin, which will be King Ronphare or whatever.

Message to everyone, Fenrir is CONFIRMED. Yes people stop your rumors that say else wise. Everything but the Quest itself has already been implemented (cloister, avatar itself, abilitied of avatar, MP cost, items you gain from the quest, etc).

Ariaa, I would like to see where you go this info because it is frankly the best sounding rumor I am yet to see about new avatars. I have heard something about this in the past, and would like to read up on it a bit. Could you please post a link to the information about King Ranpeirre/Odin if you can find it again? Thank you

Well, all I know is when I go into my moogle house I stare at Fenrir each time ^^

So we know hes in the game the question is will he be released, and as of yet all we have is rumors.

As for the Mighty Bahamut heres my idea... Stage a massive battle to obtain him were talk 50+ players in a pt take take his GIANT ass down.

Now the condtition, since hes like the root of all evil, he can only be summoned in the new limbo area.. it would seem that this new wide open area could house a nice sized avatar and since its the "shadow realm" it totally fits into the story.

the only reason /ma "Fenrir" gives same error as /ma "Titan" (if you dont have titan or are not playing smn) and not the same error as /ma "Bahamut" is because Fenrir is already in the game as an NPC for a mission. He is going to be added though. However, he is going to be the only avatar added for this update. The playonline site said there will only be one added (for now).

No I'm sure Fenrir exists in the game. I bet a GM could summon it if they wanted to. The quest just hasn't been implemented. A cutscene is just a cutscene, they don't need to run a bot that casts Fenrir.

Look ... i love Bahamut ... he is the man but like SaveTheQueen said it would piss all the dragoons off.... Odin would actually be a smarter choice considering SMNs dont have a melee attack SMN that is worth anything. Then again u can never tell what peeps a SE are thinking

My friend was pulling my leg on Odin. His name is Yummy on the Ifrit server btw ^^
Summons will be stronger, cost less mp, etc.
Just no Odin.
