Hmm, I

plan on camping Leaping Lizzy today(yes, TEH leaping lizzy that has 10 people camping it). I

have a level 24 whm(soon to be 25), but would subbing a lvl 1 theif help increase my chances

of getting the boots? Or should i raise it a few levels?

Treasure Hunter is a level 15 Thief trait. You'd need whm30/thf15 for increasing your

chances.

think it does but I don't think there's a good way to test it. Back in the lower level

days when I still had RSE I'd gilfarm dahmels and I noticed that when there were two /thf

subs things were much quicker.

Sadly, half of them (at least) don't know how to play as a

Thief. And half of those people don't even want to know from what I noticed. So there's

a lot of potential being wasted.

Oh, get this story. I was leveling my WAR in Qufim

yesterday. The first party I joined had a THF pulling with Sneak Attack. This person's

main character was a WHM at level 50. Yea...you'd figure that as a WHM, they'd know

better about how hate works. Sadly this person not only didn't know that (until after I

explained it) and even after I explained it, was pulling with sneak attack. Until I

provoked a Clipper that spawned nearby and finally kept the hate on me even AFTER one of the

two thieves in the PT did a sneak attack (90+ dmg as well).

And then they said that

Treasure Hunter works better at higher levels...as a level 50 THF, the only change in

Treasure Hunter I noticed was at level 45 when I got Treasure Hunter II. Other then that

Treasure Hunter at levle 25 was the same as Treasure Hunter at level 15. The same person

told me that their lvl 60 THF friend told them that was how it worked. And since I spent a

LOT of time farming to support my crafting, i've noticed that there was no difference as I

leveled higher. I've asked some other Thieves level 50+ as well and they had the same

answer as me. So we might have a level 60+ THF running around that might not know their

class as well as they should or SE might've changed TH with one of the recent patches.
