I went to the Maze tonight to check for the ???. Spent an hour+, checked the whole place after 40 minutes produced no ??? at the points listed. Anyone found any other spots? Or was I just unlucky for an hour...

searched Ordelle's pretty competely during my RSE week and found several ??? marks, none of which spawned any mobs. Several of them said "Nothing Happens." and the others said stuff which are part of other quests in the zone. Gonna keep trying i guess.

I went yesterday durring elf male time, looked all over the maze for ???'s and all I saw were the ones that were there before, the eco warrior, etc.

I ran around there for about 2.5 hours and saw nothing... /sigh

Unless they're out of sync with RSE and people that have failed to find the ??? (i.e. me) are checking in the wrong areas or at the wrong times.

The sachet doesn't drop 100% of the time. Shimmy is 1/1 and Avi is 1/3.

I hope I'm not missing anything, but... if they're going to be on the October update, how does Ichtyos claim that Shimmy and Avi already got the drops? :o_O

wonder if when its your week it can be in either area's you just have to figure out which area its in for your race week just cuz your week is in this area doesn't mean the ??? is

The items are in the game. If you're on Titan and see Avinor and/or Shimmy in town, just ask them to show you. Maybe there's something we're missing about the spawn conditions for the ???'s or maybe they depop and move around, but there are definitely spawn points that we haven't found. Laretheo has a good point; maybe the ??? can be in a different area than the one your RSE chests are currently in.

Elvaan Male isnt until friday morning, but its in gusgen mines. Theres an rse going on there now so I'm looking around for the ???'s to try to get an idea of ??? loc's for when its time. However, I'm not seeing any ??? that werent there before. (They should be there though, since an RSE is going on there now). As stated in the posts before, perhaps the ??? pops in a zone other than the one where RSE is currently taking place.

IE - Its currently Taru Male RSE in Gusgen. So maybe the ??? is spawning in either Ordelles/Maze, and can only be checked by a Taru Male to get the NM to pop.

Edit: I just found a ??? in gusgen during rse for taru male. It is currently right next to the treasure chest at I-8. So it can pop in the same zone. >.> heh.

Gonna see if i can get a taru male in the zone to try to pop it.

I just popped it.

Had a taru male friend from LS come to Gusgen mines and click the ???. Aroma Fly popped. I tried clicking it and nothing. So yes, it seems to be RSE related, and same-zone related.

Aroma fly was too weak to 75, didnt hit me once. Has somewhere between 2500-3000 hp. Was on darksday, 60percent moon. NO DROP so not a 100 percent drop.

We're gonna wait and see if we can get the ??? again...but rse is about to end so we probably wont get a chance to before it moves to another zone for taru females.



Edit: Male tarutaru RSE ended and we couldnt find the ??? (rse ended like 15-20 min after we killed it, so very possible we didn't stay long enough for repop)

I'd suggest some Taru Females go to their RSE zone, and hell maybe even check the other zones for ??? pops. I would go, but alas, {Time for Work!}

Nice update Mertron. I guess the people scouring Shakrami last night were just unlucky.

If you have the chance to check the Taru Girl RSE zone, though, that would rock. I'm wondering how often the ??? respawns, if it's there when RSE starts or its a random spawn, etc. I'll try and check as well when I get home before I head up to Sky.

Also, strange that the one point confirmed in Ordelles and 1 of two points in Gusgen are right on RSE Chest spawn points...yet the ones in Maze are no where near chest spawns. Too bad they're all not right near an RSE chest. ^^ Next time I search a zone I'm gonna be sure to check every RSE chest spawn point just in case.

Just turned Mithra RSE time so i headed out to try to get me a sachet and maybe my final RSE piece in ordelles.

I walked around for a while, tabbing everything in sight, and found a ??? at I-11 on the level below the way to stroper territory. Popped the leech, killed it, got 15 exp, and no sachet. ; ;

A friend of mine and I were in the maze trying to find the ??? spots for her since shes a Taru F Rdm and recently threw her Morion Tathlum.

J-6 on the first map, at the bottom of the dropoff (Avinor, Titan)
H-4 on the second map, near northern Fossil Rock (Llama, Titan)

I can confirme these 2 spawn points myself. Another Taru Rdm beat us to both on 3 occasions. They must not have gotten the drop since they spawned 3. We left shortly after to help a friend, and this other Rdm was able to use both Flee and Escape (sounds a bit fishy eh?). The other Rdm had an Optical Hat on, so we weren't able to tell if it was a male or female Taru, but I'd guess Female as it was Taru F RSE time.

The repop time for the ??? spots seems to be ~30 min.

So what could I be missing then? Im *sure* i went during elvaan female RSE week in the correct zone, and i checked every single ??? that there was in the entire zone, and no NM spawned...

and on top of that the 10+ stroper chymes didn't drop a single damn one of those worthless shikaree rings! >< (i'd have likely tossed it anyway)

Ok i try it yesterday.
It was Taru Female RSE time at the Maze.
I found the ??? 3 times (30 min repop) 2 times at the Attowa zone and one time near the drop down.
Killed the Aroma Crawler 3 times and never dropped anything >.<

Maybe SE just has a thing against Elvaan Monks Brennon. I did the same thing in the Maze right before your RSE....same results. Will check again tomorrow morning tho.

I did get a rse pattern while I was down there from a random chest as I ran past... Have the people that didn't find any ???'s completed their RSE gear quests? Maybe that's it... You have to have found 4 patterns and turned them all in before you can see the ???'s perhaps?
