I hear the new expansion will also add these new zones called Maze of Shakhrami and Korroloka Tunnel so that people don't have to xp in the dunes only

lol when i leveled subs i went canyon-> maze-> bubu -> quifm

the dunes isn't the only place to level... though i think many of the people rushing to try it out will beg friends to power level the parties to get them though that part asap

also, i don't expect a huge migration to blu or bum or whateveru wana call it... i tihnk most people may unlock it, play around with it solo form 1-10 or so... but really unless it's an uber sub, i think most will stick with thier main jobs (or whatever jos they were playing b4)

Dunes are actually an amazing place to level if you have a high-rank party. 200+ exp a fight is very easy in those cases.

well… yea, thats what i potentially mean. i’ll never try in level in the dunes with beginners again, i had toooo many bad experiences. but having a static party of people i know is just a more secure way of leveling, then just… lets say… trying to search for a more advance player.

Back to the thread. Well, I always say "Never... never again... I will never go back to the d00nes...". But well, I want to level RDM to 37, so Um... from 14, no choice but admit I'll go back in the damn d00nes, where even a very pimp JP High Level becomes a damn noobs...

Seriously, I don't think the dunes will see that many blue mages.
In the little video thingy from SE showing the tiny clips of BLU, the text on the screen says something about "across the seas, across the air [people] of vana d'iel will find a new way of life" and then it goes on to show these new areas and the clips of BLU.

I'm predicting... an entirely new major city.
Look at RoZ. You had to do a quest to get to Kazham, or pay 500k.
I figure the new expansion'll be the same kinda thing.
To get to aht urghan (or whatever the hell it's called), you will ahve to do some kind of quest.
I'm betting something to do with ships, as the video showed some kind of ghost ship sailing.. somewhere.
Anyways, the ship (or whatever method of transportation gets you there) will be through some high-level new area.
Once you get to the dock, do the quest, take the ship, and end up on the other side, the monsters are the same level.
But as you get closer to town, the level of the zones would decrease, untill you've got a saruta/gustaberg level area, right outside the new big city.
IN that city would be the BLU job quest, and then you could easily level it and take it back to the dock and eventually back to the regular cities.

Just speculation, don't quote me on this. =)
