BLU ability ideas

lv1.10min.Learn-Steals a mob ability with a 50% chance of success
lv5.10min.Nature circle-lets party go past aggro mobs without aggro
lv.10.5min.scan-displays what abilities a certain mob has
lv.15.10min.mimicing seal-enhances your mob abilities
lv30.Natures Touch-lets you move safely around EP-T mobs
lv75.10min.Transformation-lets you copy the image of the mob and be that mob with all its abilities with a 50% chance of succes

I think every job should have that ability.

And as for some of the other abilities. They sound like they should go with something more like Geomancer. Last time I checked BLU wasn't all "nature" like.

My thoughts -

Many monster-exclusive abilities are TP-Based, so it's entirely possible that Blue Mage will be a TP-intensive job. Mana pool could be used for spells to steal mob abilities, lower/drain mob tp, raise tp of party members, etc. Some kind of party TP-regen spell would make them very popular.

To balance things out, they would probably be weak on direct melee, using mob TP attacks the same way a blm uses nukes.

At least, that seems like a good way of staying true to the nature of the job yet keeping it unique and balanced.

i agree with djinn... go past non aggro mobs w/o aggro?

pretty sweet.. except everyone already goes past non aggro mobs without aggro lolz.

In FFTA they had this "Immunity" thing, cant remember what it does though, lol :/
in this game... i guess it could lower damage done by mobs TP stuff...

Scan probably would be a huge factor and part of Blue Mage's ability. In FFV, they had the ability to scan the mob's stats.

here s a new job ability for ppl.

job - someone that thinks they know exactly what square is doing with the new job.

2hour - zomgwristslash. - most ppl don't use this, unfortunatly.
lvl1- ZOMGSPOUTMYMOUTHOFFABOUTSHITIDONT'KNOWABOUT- pretty self explantory.
lvl5 - zomgicancomupwithfakeJA's!- see above
lvl25 - zomgdefendtheUNNANOUNCEDNEWJOB- allows KI nub to defend the job which NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT.
