I think goblin is the beastmen race most likely to be seen wtih blue mages in their ranks; it seems to fit them. I'm not sure what other mob races are likely to have blue mages.

The prospect of beastmen with blue mage jobs raises the question of whether they will use other monsters abilities and whether or not players can learn the ablities from other monsters that the beastmen are casting.

I do think that square will at least add beastmen blue mages so they will have mobs that drop testimonies for G5.

Which though will suck, will also be an awsome challenge.

Though to avoi them to get to powerfull, there gained ablitys will only last when they are alive i guess.

So the moment u kill them they lose the skills.

But i gather they will be able to copy only certain skills anyway.

I don't think any of the current Beastmen will have BLU jobs..
considering blue magic is already stuff the Beastmen can use.. like Goblin Rush, I'd bet..

But its possible on the new continent they have a new species of beastmen.. I'm thinking probably Lamia's (snakemen) that have BLU jobs..

I doubt Beastman Blue Mages will do anything as complicated as copy abilities from players on the fly. Chances are, they'll be just like other Beastman mages, except they'll be casting spells from a selection of the same palatte of abilties player Blue Mages can learn. The NM Blue Mages will probably know a few of the nastier abilities... and the highest level ones may know a few abilities that player Blue Mages will never be high enough level to learn.

I'd think high lvl BLU beastmen NMs will be extremely nasty to deal with.. like high lvl RDM mobs.. cos of all the buffs, cures and statuses they'll be able to deal with

I dont thing a blu beastman could learn a WS from you unless it had the weapon equiped. WS's are not the same as abilitys they require the correct weapon type so a goblen with a dagger is not gonna learn hexa strike from the whm, but perhaps a goblen blu with a hammer could even thouhg hexa is whm only.
