They do use Blue Magic, which in this game would mean the TP attacks of Mobs... But if you mean spells like Fire, Cure and Utsusemi, then no.

It's been said somewhere that the moves the BLU will be able to use will consume MP, rather then TP which the original source of the attack/whatever required.

People seem to think every mob ability is TP based and this logic is really faulty. Lets take spiderweb for example. I walk up to an EP spider in the tree, I smack it with my sword giving it (and this is tested in balista) 2 tp, it hits me with its natural attack giving it somewhere between 2-5, I hit it again for another 2 so this is now 9TP max that it has and then it uses spiderweb.

Or how about when you fight bats, I am sure you have all seen a bat ust jet-stream 2-4 times within 20 seconds, even a sam does not get that fast.

So in anwer to OP yes it will be magic, it says it will be magic and EVERY blu in the history of FF used MP to use its blue magic.

Yes, they use the abilities that the monster gets to use when it has 100%tp+, but for the BLU to use that ability, it will cost Magic points.
Same abilities;
Different "energy sources", if you will.

Actually, I dont think MOBs really need TP to use attacks other than Sic. But, yeah the interview already said that Blue would use MP.

Yes, I have... If you would read the first thing that I said, you would know that this is to help settle an arguement between my friend and I. I said that a Blue Mage will use magic. He thinks that they do not.
