yeah when i think of dancer i think of ffx-2 but bard dosn't exactly play music extremelty like heavy metal so i guess a dancer would only move slighty side to side. (like a stripper)
anyways think about this before those galkas start dancing in your head.
1. who would be the new refresher? necromancer? blue mage? mimic? geomancer? pirate? yeah se could give them a refresh spell but then again maybe they won't. it makes more sense dancer would be the new refresher that everyone wants.
2. it's pld and drk, rdm and blue mage, whm and blm, brd and who? brd and dancer.
3. looking at the far east from the video it looks persian, the blue mage screams persian, where else would a dancer job be then the far east?
4. having a job who sings and plays music in the middle of a battle seems laughable in words but se made bard acceptable to us, they can do it with dancer.
5. i don't know what brd's sub other then whm, but it's something fun for brd's to sub and vise versa.

Well, bard (singer) & dancer seemed pretty mashed together into one job in FFx-2. *shrug*
In my opinion, though this has probably been discussed already on these forums somewhere, I think it stands to reason the new job will have something to do with the terrestrial avatars. Like, not another summoner job (maybe one of the -mancers?), but something else. Maybe they dance and terrestrial avatars buff the party? =.- Who knows. Yay for waiting & seeing what happens.
edit: typos. yarr.
