Yet again you are correct! But considering I don’t need a single acc on nin because i use earth staff as /drk, still n.kote are situational for me! Yes these are good and a worthwhile item (as was mentioned last 5 posts) if you are in situations where acc would be an issue! Mnk, Nin, maybe Sam (pole) would get plenty out of them, but they have no haste or enmity+ to be a good pick up for "me"!

ps: am only referring to them with respect to my need for item, not referring weather the class’s that can use them benefit or not !

Being a NIN tank myself I've used TP gaining with katana quite often. Makes other kills faster too like Fafnir if you want to gtfo to do something else and have sufficient acc/utsu timing to pull it off.

I really really do not want to make this in to nin forum. But to clear the water! More often than none yes! I do use earth staff. In the rear situation I am not using staff, (because NM prefers magic attacks more) I use x2 katana that have enmity+, or HP+, or whatever is needed to make sure I do not die, and the mob does not stop facing me! My priorities for stats for tanking are enmity, haste, physical dmg-, hp, and then whatever else is required. If I do run across a situation like let’s say sea where we are killing Aerns for Ix’drk or drg, yes then Kote would be of help. But again usually I would have sufficient hate to hold mob do to sata and what not, so I would be looking at shadows/stun rather than if am landing hits or not, and with Yonin all u need is to move in front and slap a stun and it’s glued to you! There are a few other situations where I see kote coming in handy. But they are few and far apart!
For mnk yes this could be a potential full time item (TP and WS) for where acc is needed more then att+ , but I’m nin+brd locked for far too long! And i would look in to it, in the future, but i have more pressing matters that need my gil at this time!

This is what is irritating me. Vivik has made it clear he has no interest in doing so. I can have people explain to me why my White Mage is cheaping out on several options and I would agree, but I simply don't care because White Mage is a tertiary job for me.
