Actually, never mind. I don't really care to know the answer to that. You do nothing but judge others here, and it's just old. The TP and AF sets are only geared towards Colibri at the moment. They'll all just touch acc cap on birds without any accuracy buffs, all except the TP set for no focus, which I believe would only manage a 92% hit-rate.

There's still plenty of little trinkets i'm missing, but overall i'm quite happy with Monk. I felt quite eager to post with the encroaching Level cap increase. But nah, looking forward to it.

I really can't see myself changing out of Rajas Ring just because Focus is off, especially with all the other Accuracy gear you have.

Also on your Asuran ACC set, you could probably squeeze in Usukane Hizayoroi instead of Shura Haidate +1, because of the attack loss you're getting from Focus Up -> Focus Down. It's quite significant really, even with Relic. And with Anwig Salade, you should still be okay on your ACC.

It's a toss up, really. A loss of about 2% hit-rate I think, for STR+5 STP+5. Although i'm not obsessive about capping acc, just so long as I can get away with using decent attack food. Naturally in this situation I can, but only sis and yellow buns.

I'm not saying you're wrong, it's just one of those things i'm undecided about. But hey, convince me!

That alone would drop me from capped acc to 92% on colibri for -1 STR and +10 Attack. It's a chick and egg thing but i'd stay with Shura, personally

Too little accuracy with pizza+1 (8/8 h2h)? I haven't used this job much because I whore BRD for merits and stuff but I'm looking forward to using it in salvage. Any helpful advice is appreciated even if it's obvious upgrades or you feel like flaming me for the togi+1 and tiphia/ulthalam's/nq shura legs (abj. is so rare second time around :/)

You have a pretty healthy amount of accuracy for most things assuming HQ pizza(switch to crab sushi/+1 and swap in much more attack for birds). I'd definitely recommend ditching the Ulthalam's Ring for any +5 Acc. one you can get a hold of(or swapping in a STR ring if you've got Acc. overflow). You already dropped a wad of cash on Togi+1, and considering there will be no detectable difference between it and any non-Usukane alternative I'd just stick with that. You can definitely drop the Cuchulain's Mantle for Asuran, and I'd recommend doing the same for your TP build.

Beyond that, excellent MNK, just work on a Focus-up set(for WS and TP). You'll be able to stick a pretty significant amount of attack into your TP build if you do so.

Every time I quit I gave away all my buyable gear to friends. I got the togi over a year ago now and quit from September to around May. Luckily friends in game have helped me out buying shit back every time.

As far as gear goes I have a blood ring that I'm now using, didn't buy back forager's just yet because I was focusing on blitz ring for war, but I have usukane legs that I can throw in for asuran. Is it reasonable to use them instead of shura and keep cuch or still too much accuracy? Also planning on the mkd helm with Acc+10 Att+5 STR+4 WsACC+15. Is this overkill for my sets assuming cuch>foragers and shura>usukane? If it is should I just get a different helm?

If you can use MKD on MNK, definitely do so. 25 Acc during WS is really nice for sticking attack elsewhere.

And yeah, switching to Usukane legs during Asuran would be a fine substitute for a Forager's for the time being.

Rajas/Tor is almost always going to be better than torx2, I'd adjust TP set. I used torx2 so little that I ended up selling one.

As for cuch mantle, it's pretty situational.

For birds, yes, definitely on meat build. if you're using a crab sushi build forager is going to be better. If you're in another spot where food isn't snatched, pizza is your main food and forager would be bette rmost of the time there as well. As far as salvage, it depends on what you eat, for boss and Quiqurns only. If you meat to salvage your acc should be capped on almost everything but what I just mentioned, in which case you'd use cuch for those two and a couple other mobs in salvage, but forager for everything else.

What I say now will apply to both Toreador ring and Cuch mantle. In almost any situation (aside from things like byakko or wind wall seiryu), even if it wins, you will still want to use the alternative w/ focus up, which is 40% of the time. If you don't have enough acc w/ focus up to cap, then you should look at your food and adjust accordingly.

Also, ethereal: X for tp'ing. Do Odin and get his earring. Ulthalam's/rajas fulltime in salvage (if you have uthalam's),

Also didn't see your cerb+1 till after I wrote forager, so anything that says forager above, just put cerb+1 in its place.

For WS set, I'd use hachiryu legs. W/ 25 ws acc anwig, anything that your acc won't be good enough to use Hachiryu haidate over shura haidate, you'd prolly be better off using one of your 2hit ws.

Chakra set isn't maxed out, but definitely one of the better ones I've seen. Have only seen a handful of people care as much about a chakra build as myself, so that one is very good in comparison to many I see.

As for combat merits, I hate to say it, but I really consider h2h meirits a must for mnk. At least 4 if you have faith torque, if not then 8. h2h merits gain the most benefit of any combat merits because all combat merits give an equiv acc/attack amount, but only h2h merits offer base DMG. I'd honestly only ever use your mnk over another well geared mnk who was merited if the other mnk was absent, or if there was a situation wher eyou are both on, salvage for example, he'd be the main person to get geared first and you'd be the back up mnk. If it stays at 0 merits, I wouldn't use it at all, in all honesty, except maybe for solo if you don't have anything better for that.

I figure Id say this since I don't think I said this before but my Monk is only used for Salvage.. my other jobs are a lot better geared and have 8/8 combat merits vs my Monk but I will whip it out for Einherjar from time to time..

but I'll take all the info you gave me try out different sets to see which ones work for my gear start spaming Pizza and rocking out with my Sniper+1 / Rajas and see where that gets me..

also my Anwig is augmented with +4 STR +15 WSAcc +4 AGI +2% WSDmg (was made for my Rng)

Your WS set has merman's, so I assumed you had one. On any mob that matters, the eva on ethereal won't serve you much purpose. I only use mine for solo

Depends on your h2h merits. If you're at a place where it'd bump you up a base dmg, then yes, pretty much always faith torque. If you're not getting base DMG, then ancient torque if acc is uncapped (but even in this case, faith torque for focus up), and faith torque for capped acc.
