well i've been looking it over as to the dynamsis weapons

has anyone gotten these up to stage 3 or stage 4?

i've seen the items needed and pondering why no one has gotten them. too me its all confusing they say u need to pay the gob with the old currency but u can also trade items to get currency?

well stage 3 mentions and trial of somesort. but no clue how to start it.

i'd really like to have anyone with more info to post it. i dont really want to waste a million gil trying this out, only to get the weapons to stage 2 and be stuck.

Some info on how to actually upgrade the items although I think its somewhat unclear. At the bottom of the page it shows the needed items to trade in for the currency you need. You gonna have to be ULTRA MEGA rich for the items its asking (IE. x28 Damascus ingots...) or have them drop in Dynamis. Also recipes to make some of the items needed for 1st stage transformation. I think for the stage your at, it has the least amount of info for transformation. It just tells you to have Attestation of Righteousness for great sword and Attestation of Vigor for the scythe which probably are gotten through a trial like you say. And for the 4th stage, it seems you have to go to a certain location on the map and have a certain item with you as well and an event will take place. Rather vague on the last two stages :/

Tis all i could find on the net for the moment, don't think it helped much though. Will try to look up more info later. ^^;

Sani, w/ regards to the damascus ingots, you can trade items to get the ingots. You don't have to hunt an HNM like Roc just to get one now ... but the price still doesn't reflect the new options in acquiring them ;_;

So it's 28x L Jadeshell to get one damascus ingot I believe ... the L. Jadeshells are drops from monsters in Dynamis. So basically you have to fight monsters to get the ingot ...

Beats having to wait for a HNM pop and a lottery drop anyday IMHO ...

Well this is 1 more area that SE has messed up really bad. You see to get the damn currency its really hard. First of all the "normal" drop item in Dynamis is not the 100 unit money, its the
1 unit money. They 100 Unit money is super rare drop in Dynamis which mean you will get lucky if even 1 drop under the entire visit there. On the other hand the 1 unit drops normally. Now the big problem here is that when the money drops
you have to roll to get they money. The BIG problem here of cource is that you need to roll against 63 other people, not the normal 6 ppl.
That reduces you chanc dramaticly of gaining any coins at all. YOu basiclly need to roll 995+ to get the coin. Rememner you roll agains 63 other people. Now say you will get 2-3 coins under you visit to dynamis, not counting the 100 since its almost impossible. That mean you need for the first upgrade visit Dynamis L. Jadeshell x5 = 500 1 units >> 500/3 ( 3 coins each time you visit ) = 167 times.
Now we do know that dynamis has a limitaion and that is that you can only visit it once every 3 days. If we calculate further 167 x 3 = 501
That mean if you were to visit Dynamis every 3 days ( kinda hard ) that mean it will take 501 days to complete the first upgrade. And no you can not trade items for money ( ie. You are super rich, you buy 100x Damascus Ignot to trade to coins, it works the other way, you can trade coins for items, in this case the ignot ).
Now for the second upgrade you need 16 silver piece and once again a silver piece is a 100 unit coin. So 16*100 = 1600/3 = 533 times x 3 = 1599 days it will take for the second upgrade.

I wont go any further, it is total 4 stages.
So as you can see 1+2 stage will take
1599+510 = 2109 = roughly 6 years in RL.
As i have said I heavnt calculated the possiblity that you will get 100unit coins, but thats only cause its super rare. But I have calculated that you visit dynamis every 3 days which not many ppl do either. I also have not taken into account that many times the party dies in dynamis and time runs out before you finish it.
And the last thing to add is that I havnt counted the last 2 stages,, add a few more years I guess ^^^. Impossible ? No, on the brink of impossiblity. You also can buy these coins though from ppl who visit Dynamis. Prices varies from 5000-100 000 per 1 unit coin.
So to clear first stage ( this is if you wanna "buy" your upgrades ) will cost you 2 500 000 > 50 000 000. Second stage will cost you 8 000 000 > 160 000 000 gil. I will not count 3rd or 4th stage... you get my point here. The BIG problem here is that extremly few people want to sell their coins since they gather also for their relic upgrades, so dont look at this as an alternative.
Well this is what SE though of when thinking what to do whith people who have done almost everything in the game,,

i'm confused on that one. i guess i'll have to try it.

its super rare to even have people on my server go to dynamisis. its hard to get that many high lvls together. let alone a grp that will survive the sea of monsters there.

Maldave ... it wouldn't be an issue if you went as an LS ... you take turns ... one person gets all the rolls (everyone passes) then he/she gets it done, move to the next ...

This is how the JP players do it and frankly, I haven't heard any problems from them ...

Also, you CAN go in 64 players ... but I've seen JP players organize maybe with 15 to 18 people ... so ... that might also be something you want to think about ... go with a smaller alliance, but get another two you can trust and then do it that way ...

Also, bring thieves with TH +1 thief's Knife and I think a piece of assasin's gear also increases TH. That will make coins drop more often I believe

Ohh now this is intresting, did I mentions that mobs are packed jammed in there and that you train a lot ? 18 people means only you will kill a lot slower and much greater chanc of failing to clear the dynamis. As for LS to give 1 person priority that is understandable if its only 1 LS that is entering it. At least on Syplph we always have multiple LS:s cause none of our LS can bring that many people alone.
And Btw. if you were in an LS like that and your place of getting your weapon was 64 ??
That would still take a massive amount of time for you to get your weapon.
That is why no one impleys that rule and ppl lot freely.

Dunno Maldave ... maybe you guys need a new strategy ... again, let me point out that you can bring 64 players, but JP players go in smaller ... 3 small alliances and they do just fine. Maybe you guys aren't doing something right ... maybe ...

I have a stage 3 (Dynamis Scythe) and its been a long and painful road (for my characters wallet) to get it there, when its done I'm just looking forward to that 102 DMG and +20 ACC *drool*
